Look out, Oakdale! Rick Decker is coming back!

With a path of dead patients already in his path and a slew of attempted murders also on his record, Oakdale is going to be to be on heightened security in July. That's when actor John James reprises his role as crazed Rick Dicker. Since leaving ATWT, James has appeared in a much saner role on All My Children.


Demented murderer Rick Decker pays a visit As The World Turns next month when John James returns to briefly reprise the role.


During his stint in Oakdale, Rick Decker killed several patients at Memorial Hospital and attempted to kill Susan and Alison Stewart, and Bob Hughes. James' alter ego made a dramatic exit from the canvas in November 2004, after attempting to kidnap Barbara Ryan (played by Colleen Zenk Pinter). He hasn't been seen since.


Though Rick hasn't been seeing in nearly four years, James has kept himself busy. He enjoyed a year-long run as Jeff Martin on ABC's All My Children from June 2006 until May 2007.


In addition to his work on daytime television, millions of viewers know him as Jeff Colby on the long-running nighttime soap, Dynasty.


Look for Rick to cause trouble for at least one of the Stewart women on July 15th and 16th.
