Jen and Greta try to get rid of Jack, but he continues to follow them. The two verbally spar about Jack's sexuality until Jen finally yells to Jack to stop spying on them. A police officer overhears and hauls Jack away, with a worried Greta protesting. Jen is sure that Jack will smooth talk his way out of any charges and she plans to seduce him to prove to Greta that he is not gay. Jen and Greta go shopping at a lingerie store and they both try on sexy nightgowns. True to Jen's prediction, Jack isn't detained for long by the officer and is soon hiding behind mannequins in the store. He accidentally pulls the arm off a mannequin only to be accused of having an arm fetish by the salesperson. A scantily clad Greta walks out of the fitting room and Jack springs on her, begging she tell the saleswoman that he is gay. The saleslady doesn't buy it saying, "Any self-respecting gay man would not be caught dead in that coat." Suddenly, Jen walks out of the fitting room, dressed in red lingerie and Jack is left speechless and practically drooling. Jen tells a puzzled Greta that she told her so.

Sami tries to relax Austin, who is clearly uneasy about the news he has to break. He finally tells her that Lucas and Kate are staying at his place while Lucas recovers. Sami drops a glass in shock. She is seething and argues with Austin, who defends his family. He won't kick them out, so Sami orders him out of her apartment. Austin tries to smooth things over by telling Sami he'll take her and Will out to dinner, but she snaps, "Why don't you give me a call after you've gotten rid of your family." She then tells Austin that she is disgusted and disappointed with him.

Meanwhile, Kate pulls Roman into Austin's apartment to see Lucas. Roman questions her on why she brought Lucas there. Lucas stirs, making Roman uncomfortable. As the doctor and nurse hover in the background, Kate talks to her son. She asks Roman to help her with Sami. He suggests that Kate work hard to improve her relationship with his daughter. She refuses to leave Austin's apartment until Lucas is fully recovered. "If Sami tries to fight me, she'll lose. And if you try to help her, you'll lose, too," she threatens.

Belle talks to her mother about Shawn, wondering what he's hiding from her. The conversation turns to Jan, and Brady comes in, saying that Jan needs serious help. Belle admits that Shawn is her whole life and that she can feel something bad happening to him. Marlena and Brady both try to convince Belle not to make Shawn her whole life. Marlena is not comfortable with his recent actions and Brady doesn't want Belle to give Shawn total control. Belle says, "I love Shawn." Her and Brady argue about love and she wonders why he doesn't just admit that he's crazy about Chloe. Marlena calms her angry daughter and she reminds Belle that she would go on without Shawn. Marlena says that she gets through difficult times because she has the two of them to share their lives with. Brady says, "We love sharing our lives with you, Mom." Belle is surprised that he said "Mom." Brady shrugs and Marlena smiles warmly. Belle says she loves them both and they all have a group hug.

Jan looks at her baby's ultrasound picture, until her mother comes into the room offering her a bowl of fruit. She tells Jan that she is getting fat and she demands to know what's going on with her. Jan says that Shawn is on his way over and then they will tell her together, but Mrs. Spears doesn't want to wait for an answer.

Meanwhile, at the Brady's, Bo and Hope are stunned to learn that Shawn is the father of Jan's baby. Bo thinks that he's protecting the real father and asks, "Are you sure that you're the one that got Jan pregnant?" They both want to meet with Jan's parents, but Shawn refuses. Shawn leaves while his parents are angry and worried.

Jan and her mom continue to argue until Shawn arrives. Shawn is calm, but Mrs. Spears is clearly not. She finds the ultrasound picture and screams, "You little whore," as she slaps Jan. She then attacks Shawn, who trips and falls on the floor, getting momentarily knocked out. Mrs. Spears says that her life is over because Jan is giving her an illegitimate child. Jan helps Shawn to his feet and continues to argue with her mother, accusing her of not loving her and thinking that she is a loser. Jan dramatically throws the fruit bowl. Mrs. Spears refuses to support the baby, "You're no daughter of mine," she yells. Shawn tries to interrupt, but Jan says she's leaving. "I will hate you until the day I die," she yells at her mother. Mrs. Spears says to Shawn, "I'm going to press charges and have you arrested for statutory rape."

After Shawn leaves, Hope cries and Bo can't understand why Shawn had sex with Jan on the island. Hope won't accept that he is the baby's father. Bo wants to go to Jan's house, but Hope thinks that Shawn can handle the situation for now. She thinks that Shawn is lying and Bo says that he is not a liar. They wonder about Belle. Hope eventually has another white-out, but tells Bo that she was remembering curling up on the couch with their family watching videos. She thinks everything is falling apart. "How do we get through this," she asks.

They accept and ask her to join them at Monopoly. Nancy is giddy when Chloe accepts, until the doorbell rings and she discovers Brady on the other side. Brady gets drawn into the Monopoly game and everybody but Nancy is pleased. However, the game gets exciting and Nancy doesn't seem miffed any longer, until she attacks Brady for criticizing Chloe's singing. "What are you doing here?" he says to someone on the other side of the door.

She claims that Austin is using Will to get what he wants since he never had a relationship with his father. "I thought you'd changed," he slings. Sami defends herself. Austin thinks she should forgive his mother and Lucas. He wonders what Sami will do when Will grows up and realizes what all the people he loves are really like. Sami asks Austin if he is threatening to not marry her if she doesn't let Will see Lucas. They argue loudly, until Will runs out of his room wondering why he heard loud voices. Sami hugs Will and Austin tells him they were having a "very loud discussion."

Lucas continues to mumble his son's name as Roman warns Kate that she'll regret any stunts that will ruin Sami's dreams.
