Jophielle Love won the hearts of General Hospital fans the moment she stepped into the role of Violet Finn, the daughter of Hayden Barnes (Rebecca ) and Dr. Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton). But her talents don't stop at soap opera acting. The young performer is also a budding singer/songwriter, as evidenced by an adorable tune she wrote and performed for her GH mom.
Love took to Instagram with a photo of herself posing with and a guitar and made another post on Facebook of a video of her performing Walking in the Dark, her very first original song that she made up spontaneously just for .
"This is my first original song 'walking in the dark' that I just made up on the spot to sing to my GH mom @rbjobud ... What do you think?" Love wrote. "I'm gonna get my friend @douglasladnier to help me polish it off a bit and teach me some ukulele chords and it will be ... The Best!"
As GH fans know, the wait for Hayden to finally tell Finn that they shared a daughter was super long, so it was quite upsetting when the powers that be decided to write Hayden out of the show shortly after Violet was introduced. For now, the little girl is staying with Finn and Anna (Finola Hughes), but hopes are high that Hayden will come back to Port Charles soon. hasn't given any clues as to whether or not she'll be returning to the ABC soap, but she did take a moment to appreciate the song that Love created for her.
"I will always cherish my video of this and your sweet song for me," shared in the comments under Love's post.
Fans will have to wait and see whether or not returns to General Hospital and reprises the role of Violet's mom, but they might not have to wait too much longer for more songs from Love. After all, the soap's Nurses Ball is just around the corner, and there's a chance that the talented youngster will join in on the music and dancing that fills Port Charles during the annual, fun-filled event.
