LeBlanc talks yet to begin

Fans are worried that Christian LeBlanc's (Michael Baldwin) contract with The Young and the Restless may not be renewed when is expires early next year. The fuel for the rumors is apparently tied to the maternity leave of Lauralee Bell (Christine) begins maternity leave next month.
As previously reported by soapcentral.com, Bell will leave the show for several weeks because she is expecting a baby. That leave begins near the middle of December. LeBlanc's contract expires in January and according to published reports, no one from Y&R has approached LeBlanc's camp to start talking about a new contract.
A spokesperson at Y&R refused comment when contact about LeBlanc's future with the show. "We do comment on [a performer's] contract status," said the spokesperson.
