B&B star makes return to high-rated series; character asked to be face of gay TV

The Bold and the Beautiful's Aaron D. Spears (Justin Barber) is back for an all new season of BET's Being Mary Jane.

Good news for fans of The Bold and the Beautiful's Aaron D. Spears (Justin Barber). The actor is returning for season three of BET's popular drama, Being Mary Jane.

The four-time NAACP Image Award Nominee returns as Mark Bradley, the anchorman best friend to main character Mary Jane Paul (Gabrielle Union), for the latest season of the network's highest-rated evening drama.

Created by Mara Brock Akil, the series tells the life of Mary Jane Paul, focusing on her work, her family, and the talk show that she hosts. Season three will see the outcome of Mary Jane's severe car crash as well as Mark being asked to be the face of gay television.

Spears, who joined B&B in 2009, will also be appearing in the upcoming film Stock Option, which will debut at the International Black Film Festival in October.

Watch for the season three premiere of Being Mary Jane on Tuesday, October 20, at 9PM ET on BET.
