Welcome to the Best of the Week for General Hospital, where we highlight some of the week’s standout moments, scenes, fashion, quotables, and notables!
Best of the Week

Quotables
“Yeah, because she just cut someone’s brake lines!” — Elizabeth’s response to Lucky telling her that Kristina's behavior was all over the place the night of her car wreck with Ric.
“Oh, Drew, I’m so sorry. I’m fresh out of ketamine. You’ll have to hit up your local vet.” — Tracy’s greeting to Drew at the courthouse.
“Kristina, you tried to kill someone. You almost killed two other people instead. So, when that happens, you don’t get to be picky about how I cover it up. Okay?” — Alexis’s exasperated response to Kristina’s attitude about Ric & Ava’s blackmail.
“You are such a disgusting creep” — Sasha to Ric during testimony (I hope the stenographer got that on the record!).
Lulu: “Let me guess, you’re here to take it out on the wicked witch responsible for everything wrong in your life?” Brook Lynn: “If the broom fits.” Lulu: “It doesn’t.”
“Petty and suspicious minds will always find imaginary wrongs. You know, there is really nothing I can do about that.” — Anna, responding to ADA Turner’s condemnation of her friendship with Jason.
“I do business all over the world. What's illegal in one place is legal in another, with often no relationship to existential good." — Sidwell’s response to Marco's misgivings about his “less public pursuits”.
Moments

The Fallout from the Reveal of Gio’s Parentage
All of the heavy emotions of these scenes — betrayal, confusion, anger, hurt, and indignance — were conveyed perfectly by Amanda Setton, Rena Sofer, Ellen Travolta, and Alexa Havins.
Ezra Boyle’s Dip in the Metro Court Pool
Ezra Boyle is despicable and unlikable in every scene. Daniel Cosgrove knows the assignment and continues to deliver. Having Gio “accidentally” knock Ezra in the pool was pure joy to watch.
Jossyln’s Testimony
Ric was able to turn the tables on almost all of the witnesses, but not Josslyn. Not only did she keep her cool, but she also relished in the fact that she was able to ruffle the feathers of Willow, Drew, and Ric. Eden McCoy's delivery was pitch-perfect!
Daisy’s Birth
You have to appreciate when scenes can be so absurd yet poignant and heartwarming at the same time. In a pure soap opera moment, Willow (who never took her heels off) delivered Sasha’s baby on the courtroom floor. Yet, for the many absurd things about these scenes, it only took a few exchanged looks between Michael, Willow, and Sasha to remind us of the connection these characters have, the sacrifices they have made for each other, and the possibility of them making it out of this mess to be friends again. Kudos to Katey MacMullen, Rory Gibson, and Sofia Mattson for their thoughtful performances.
Notables
Diane’s still short but longer hair looks great on her.
Sidwell’s Evil Mastermind smirks are everything. Someone really should make memes with them.
Trina’s look right before she defended Joss to Emma — That’s the look I want my friend’s to have when they defend me.
The looks on both Nina's and Carly’s faces when Drew proclaimed for the millionth time that he and Willow were in love and going to spend the rest of their lives together was a “chef’s kiss." Honestly, I had to pause the show because I was laughing so hard. I saw an interview where Cameron Mathison talked about getting hate for Drew in real life, and that someone threw fruit at him at the grocery store! PSA: Please don't throw fruit at soap stars (or anyone else) in public. Assault with a deadly fruit is not something you want on your record.

Carly’s look at Nina when she told Drew that Nina was the one who hired Jacinda and had him drugged was another LOL moment. I want a special Emmy for facial expressions to be created for Laura Wright.
Cody’s new haircut —I’m liking it and it made his beautiful eyes pop.
Cody and Molly’s toast to Britt Westbourne at the pool — Great way to foreshadow Kelly Thiebud’s return to General Hospital!
Fashion
Lois's three-piece silver satin suit had to weather the Nurse’s Ball and Brook Lynn’s fury, but she looked great throughout, even when she was getting booted from the Q mansion.
Maxie’s whole look on Thursday's episode was perfection! Love the white t-shirt with lace trim, love the vest with brooches, love the jeans with boots! It was a great look for Maximista, plus her hair looked fantastic!
Josslyn’s crochet top was a great complement to her cute poolside outfit.
Even with her marriage on the rocks, Portia looked gorgeous in her silk sundress at the family dinner.
So many men were wearing suits this week. The wardrobe department must have cleared out a Men’s Wearhouse store.
Natalia’s white dress looked bright and crisp even as she slammed back her vodka sodas and got arrested for a DUI.
Things that Make you go Hmmm...

Emma giving off a Lolita-vibe with Dalton — Are these two hiding a history? Is this part of her plan to gain access to him? Is she a spy? So many questions!
Natalia finding her inner lush — Natalia has always acted in control, so to suddenly act recklessly was definitely out-of-the-blue behavior. Eva LaRue pulled boozy behavior off well, though. Are they writing off her character, or leading to a deeper story?
I know Jonathan Jackson is leaving, but couldn’t they just pretend Lucky moved across town so Aidan can still see his dad?
How come neither Willow nor Drew took the stand?
I’m so thrilled that Sasha has found some peace and happiness, but I really wish she didn’t give Nina a complete pass for telling Ric that Michael was her baby’s father. When will Willow find out about Nina and Drew???
