Ahead of Diddy’s sentencing, rapper 50 Cent appeared to take shots at Sean Combs with an open letter to Judge Arun Subramanian, which included his brand of humor.
The rapper, who has long been at odds with Diddy, shared the letter on Instagram. In it, he said he “feared” for his life and described Sean Combs as “dangerous.”
According to TMZ, the Window Shopper artist mentioned his two-decade-long feud with the music mogul. He urged the judge to consider his concerns before sentencing.
"I have had an ongoing dispute with Puffy for over 20 years. He is very dangerous. Multiple times I have feared for my life. I think you should consider the safety of the general public, your honor, before unleashing him upon them. There hasn't been enough time for him to reform or make any adjustments, despite his trying to teach a class in there," the rapper wrote in his letter.
He continued,
"As you are already aware, the government has spent the maximum amount of money on deploying federal agencies, which appeared to be an army, in two locations simultaneously. Later, his son, who's dealing with his own r*pe allegations, claimed that the Feds had hit the wrong house."
50 Cent takes a swipe at Diddy
After a weeks-long trial earlier this year, Combs was found guilty of pr*stitution-related charges. During the trial, several witnesses mentioned the music mogul’s extensive use of baby oil during his alleged “freak-offs.” While voicing his apprehensions with the release of Combs, 50 Cent also took a dig at the Bad Boy Records founder and wrote,
"Diddy's only going to return to hiring more male s*x workers and keeping most of the baby oil away from the general public. And babies need it!"
Earlier in May, while Diddy's trial was going on, 50 Cent shared an AI-generated video to troll Combs. In the video, the music mogul's AI avatar was seen inside a prison, drinking baby oil.
On July 2, Sean Combs was found guilty on two counts of pr*stitution-related charges. However, he was acquitted of the more serious charges of s*x trafficking and racketeering. 50 Cent shared his reaction following the jury's decision and compared Combs to John Gotti, the mafia boss who evaded serious charges.
"Diddy beat the Rico, that boy a bad man! , he like the Gay John Gotti"
While 50 Cent urged the judge not to release Diddy, the music mogul received support from his former girlfriend, who was listed as "victim-3" in his trial and was scheduled to testify against Combs.
According to reports, Virginia “Gina” Huynh wrote a letter to the judge stating that she felt “pressured” to view herself as a victim after the prosecution “insisted” on it. In her letter, she added that Diddy was not a “danger” to her or to the “community.” His sentencing is scheduled for October 3.
