Kristoff St. John celebrated for spending 25 years at Y&R

Cast and crew of the Young and the Restless gathered last week to honor Kristoff St. John (Neil Winters), who is celebrating his 25th anniversary with the CBS soap.

What does spending a quarter of a century on The Young and the Restless get you? Well, in addition to millions of adoring fans and more emotional storylines than anyone can count, you get a huge on-set celebration with your costars and crew -- which is exactly what took place last Friday at Y&R for Kristoff St. John's 25th anniversary playing Neil Winters.

Cast, crew, Y&R co-creator Lee Phillip Bell, and St. John's daughters, Paris and Lola, gathered to celebrate the actor, who joined the show back in 1991.

"You are like my second dad here," said Bryton James, who plays St. John's on-screen son, Devon. "I truly love you."

Added Christel Khalil, who plays his daughter, Lily: "You're such an amazing actor, and you're so connected. Thank you."

Even Y&R patriarch Eric Braeden (Victor Newman) joined in on the praise and bestowed quite a compliment on his long-term costar. "You are always a joy to watch," he told St. John. "To do scenes with you is always a pleasure, because you're so damn real. I consider you a friend. I trust you."

Humbled by the outpouring of love, St. John took the microphone and thanked everyone who helped him during his first years playing Neil. "I was taken under the wing of a lot of people here, and it wasn't just actors," he shared. "It was people behind the scenes, [too]."

In addition to thanking his co-workers, St. John also thanked his fans via a special video message. Check out what he had to say below then leave your congratulations for the actor in the comment section below.
