Lucci's Daughter as Erica's Daughter?

Several Soap Opera Central readers have written in to ask if rumors that they've read on other Internet sites are true. One of the most-asked questions lately surrounds the return of Erica's daughter,
Kendall Hart.
According to gossip,
Susan Lucci's (
Erica) real-life daughter,
Liza Huber (ex
Gwen,
Passions), will be joining the show in the role created by Sarah Michelle Gellar. Kendall left town in 1995 to care for her ailing adopted father, Bill Hart. Since that time, Kendall has been referred to on occasion, but not regularly.
AMC has denied the rumor, but still it persists.
Huber, like her Emmy winning mother, has a background in the soaps. In October 2000, Huber announced that she would leave her role as Gwen Hotchkiss on West Coast-based Passions. Huber returned to New York and, at the time, Huber had said that she might drop out of the acting business all together.
