General Hospital's Cameron Mathison will soon be able to add game show host to his list of credits.

Cameron Mathison's non-General Hospital life is expanding once again with hosting duties on a brand-new show for the Game Show Network (GSN) called Beat the Bridge based on the British show Bridge of Lies.

According to Deadline, Beat the Bridge features players trying to cross an interactive bridge by stepping in just the right places while answering various trivia questions. Each time a player takes a step forward, they bank some cash, and they earn bonus cash when they cross the bridge. Beat the Bridge is set to premiere in June.

While Mathison has never hosted a game show before, he is a seasoned talk show host, having starred on Home and Family for the Hallmark Channel. He also served as a correspondent and sometime host on Entertainment Tonight.

Mathison began his soap career in 1998 as All My Children's Ryan Lavery and remained with the soap until 2011. He's also found success with Hallmark movies and has starred in several Murder, She Baked flicks with former Days of our Lives star Alison Sweeney. In addition, Mathison has made two Christmas films for Great American Family.

Currently, his General Hospital character, Drew Cain, is trying to come to terms with his breakup with Carly caused by the return of his twin brother, Jason Morgan. We're about to see him spending more time with Nina, a woman he hates, but you know what they say about that fine line between love and hate -- especially on a soap.
