It's been nearly a year since General Hospital's Haley Pullos was involved in a Pasadena car crash that left another driver seriously injured. Now, the actress may be changing her plea.

Haley Pullos (Molly Lansing-Davis) is reportedly trying to negotiate a deal with prosecutors over her 2023 DUI arrest that left another driver critically injured.

At a hearing in Pasadena last week, Judge Terry Smerling heard that the Los Angeles District Attorney's Office and Pullos' attorneys have been working on a potential settlement.

According to the Daily Mail, the 25-year-old Pullos is willing to change her plea from not guilty to guilty in exchange for a lesser sentence. The Emmy-nominated actress currently faces up to three years in jail. Changing her plea could allow her to receive less -- or even no -- jail time. That is, if prosecutors agree.

The judge scheduled another hearing for April 8, which Smerling said "should be the final" hearing in the case. If there is no plea agreement on that date, Deputy District Attorney Melany Avanessians indicated that the case would move forward to trial.

As Soap Central first reported in May 2023, Pullos was arrested after the vehicle she was driving swerved and flew over a dividing barrier and into oncoming traffic on the 134 Freeway in Pasadena. Officers investigating the crash found marijuana edibles and mini bottles of tequila in Pullos' car. Police claimed that Pullos showed signs of intoxication. She was subsequently arrested at the hospital after receiving treatment.

In addition to the criminal charges she faces, Pullos is also being sued by the driver of the car that she plowed into. Courtney Wilder claims that the car he was traveling behind on the freeway swerved slightly to avoid Pullos' car that was driving the wrong way on a freeway offramp. As a result, he "didn't have time to react when he saw headlights [of Pullos' car] coming his way" and as a result crashed head-on into Pullos. Wilder states that Pullos should have stopped driving earlier that night when she was involved in a hit-and-run accident.

In another twist in the case, last month, Wilder added Pasadena's No Comment Lounge as a defendant in his civil lawsuit. Wilder alleged that Pullos was working as a hostess at the popular nightspot on the night of the accident. Wilder claims that No Comment Lounge overserved Pullos and then allowed her to drive herself home.

Wilder is also suing the State of California Transportation Department, claiming the road where the accident happened is in "dangerous condition."

Pullos landed the role of GH's Molly in July 2, 2009. She received an Outstanding Younger Actress Daily Emmy nomination in 2015.

Following Pullos' accident, General Hospital tapped Holiday Mia Kriegel to take over the role on an emergency basis. Kriegel first appeared on May 25. On July 19, without any forewarning, Brooke Anne Smith was announced on-air as the show's new Molly. Smith wasn't well-received by fans, and the show ultimately hired a third actress, Kristen Vaganos. Vaganos debuted on September 27 and is still playing Molly.

General Hospital has not commented on Pullos' status -- or future status -- with the show.
