Luke arrives at his club and finds Felicia and Roy laughing it up over a game of poker. The two welcome Luke back to Port Charles. Luke pours some drinks and they toast their successful adventure. Soon after, a kid named Cody comes in looking to buy beer. He shows what is obviously a fake I.D. to Roy and Luke. Just as they are about to throw him out, a girl comes rushing in shouting that she needs Cody to get her home...it's Maxie. She is almost as shocked to see her mother, as her mother is to see her. Before Felicia can say anything, Maxie insists that Cody is the designated driver, which only infuriates Felicia more. She dismisses Cody and insists on taking Maxie home. Maxie protests but doesn't succeed in convincing her mother to trust her to ride home with Cody. After Felicia drags Maxie out of the bar, Luke tries to get Roy to open up about Melissa. Roy shuts him down, so Luke moves onto another subject and informs his friend that Laura has agreed to marry him again. Roy couldn't be happier. Later, the two go through the mail that has accumulated while Luke was away. Roy comes across a Valentine addressed to Luke. Luke opens it and pales as he reads the sinister message it contains...it's from Helena.

Lesly Lu asks her mother if she and Luke are marrying for real this time. Laura assures her daughter that this time it is for keeps. Reassured, her daughter returns to her slumber party. Just then, the doorbell rings. It's Elton, who exuberantly welcomes Ms. Spencer home. When Laura informs him that she and Luke are getting married again, he is thrilled. Immediately he regales Laura and her mother with his ideas for the nuptials. Laura and Leslie are in hysterics by the time he leaves.

AJ and Courtney make their grand entrance into Club 101. Sonny, Alexis, Carly, Zander, Jax, Skye, Ned, and Kristina cannot believe what they are seeing. Alexis does her best to keep Sonny from going after his sister. However, he ignores her and approaches the two. To everyone's surprise, he doesn't shout, threaten, or otherwise force Courtney to leave with him. He complements Courtney on her appearance and asks her to dance. Unfortunately for him, Courtney is not in the mood to be cordial. She blasts her brother for using underhanded tactics in an attempt to keep her and AJ apart. "You lied to my face!" she shouts. Sonny replies that he never lied to her. You may not have been directly involved, but you ordered your men to be she seethes. Turning to AJ, she asks him to take her out on the dance floor. He obliges, smirking at Sonny behind Courtney's back. After the two leave, Carly approaches Sonny and asks her ex if he wants her to throw AJ out. Before he can answer Alexis steps in and insists that throwing AJ out will only make things worse. The two women argue until Sonny asks them to stop. An angry Carly marches off. Sonny turns to Alexis and asks her to keep him from going after Courtney and AJ "Squeeze my hand," she tells him. Meanwhile, out on the dance floor, AJ thanks Courtney for standing up to Sonny. "May I cut in?" requests a voice from behind AJ It's Jax. Courtney agrees to dance with him, but questions his motives. He says he only wants to enjoy her company. Whatever his plans are, they are halted when Skye approaches and lays into Jax about having to play the hero all the time. Courtney tells the two she does not want to be involved in their relationship and leaves to find AJ Jax also stalks off, leaving Skye alone on the dance floor. As Courtney tries to locate AJ, she runs into Nikolas and Gia. Gia complements Courtney on her dress, but Courtney sees through the false niceties and tells her to keep her distance. Taggert, who witnesses the exchange, asks his sister why she went out of her way to be nice to the girl who supposedly caused the accident that almost killed her best friend. Doubts are again raised in his mind as to who really caused the accident. Gia is concerned that her brother will find out the truth.

Meanwhile, Courtney has located AJ and the two approach Sonny and Alexis again. AJ asks Sonny if the two can be civil to each other for Courtney's sake and holds out his hand. Sonny refuses to shake it, which only turns Courtney against Sonny more. Sonny tells Courtney she is too smart for AJ and walks away. He asks Alexis to distract him. Tell me what you were going to say when we were outside the club he says. Alexis hedges.

Throughout the night, Courtney is approached by a number of people who tell her to stay away from AJ Zander tries, but is quickly dismissed by Courtney. Carly tries to blockade her in the bathroom to get her to listen, but her words have no affect either. Alexis joins the two and adds her arguments, but Courtney doesn't want to hear what she have to say. Even Bobbie, who tells Courtney that she doesn't like Sonny for the same reasons as Courtney, tells her to let her brother keep her away from AJ "Jax, Zander, Carly, Bobbie, Sonny,...me. How much longer does the list have to get Courtney?" Alexis questions.

Back at the brownstone, Felicia and Mac lecture Maxie on the dangers of underage drinking and drinking and driving. Maxie continues to insist that she was not going to drink, and neither was the driver of the car. After Maxie goes to bed, Felicia and Mac discuss their concerns for their eldest daughter.

Luke visits Helena in jail. She is happy to see him. Luke tries to bait her by telling her he and Laura are getting married again. Though clearly incensed at the news, she tries to accept it passively. Luke demands to know what Helena is planning. Helena insists that she is up to nothing, in fact, she is very ill. As she approaches Luke, her eyes suddenly well up with tears. She tells Luke to call the guard, her pain is too unbearable.

Alexis and Courtney leave the bathroom. Alexis is approaches by a contrite Kristina who asks her sister to forgive her. She does and all is forgotten. Meanwhile, as Courtney approaches AJ, he senses that something has happened. "Are you using me just to make Sonny mad?" she questions. AJ answers by pulling her into a kiss. Sonny sees red.

Nikolas and Gia arrive back at Wyndemere after leaving Carly's club opening early. They argued over the scuffle with Sonny and Gia asks why he can't just drop it. She says getting on Sonny's bad side isn't worth it over a traffic problem. Nikolas says that he won't let anyone hurt her or anyone he loves. Lucky overhears and confronts Nikolas. Gia says she's going to bed and heads upstairs. Lucky asks Nikolas straight out if he's covering for Gia. Of course, the dark prince covers and says he couldn't do that and that it's about Sonny and he's going too far. Lucky feigns belief and says that he doesn't want to come back and find Stavros in Nikolas's place. After Lucky goes upstairs, Nikolas falls asleep on the couch and has a nightmare of his father posing as a judge and sentencing Gia to a life of torment. He says that Nikolas can be with her if he follows his father's path and "Do unto others BEFORE they do unto you." Nikolas wakes up in a panic. Meanwhile, Gia wakes up Liz and starts telling her all about her night. Then casually slips in that Sonny confronted her and Nikolas about the accident. Liz isn't completely buying it but suddenly she remembers part of the accident and that the light was red. Gia decides to leave her alone and Liz goes back to sleep. Later, Lucky slips into Liz's room to check on her while she's sleeping and gazes out the window.

At the club opening, AJ pushes things too far and starts kissing Courtney right in front of everyone including Sonny. Sonny's eyes become darts and they are headed right for AJ. As he starts his prowl toward AJ, the room goes into slow motion with everyone watching Sonny and AJ. Zander darts in front of Sonny and punches AJ a few times. As AJ goes down, Sonny backs off and a knowing and grateful glance passes between Sonny and Zander. He knows Zander just saved him from hurting AJ. Of course, little Courtney runs to AJ's defense. AJ gets up and goes directly to Sonny, (looking to die I guess) and confronts him asking what can he do to fix things and tells Sonny that if he wants to kill him then do it. Sonny walks away and goes to his sister. He tries to explain to her that AJ is using her and playing her for a fool, just as he thinks he may be getting through to her, AJ decides to go at it again and try to be a hero. He gets the rooms attention and apologizes to Carly and everyone for the scene and says that wasn't his intention. Then he pretends to faint, to which little Courtney runs to him again and announces that she isn't leaving with Sonny, she'll go with AJ. While Skye is holding his head and calling a paramedic, AJ squints his eyes open a tad and winks at her letting her know it's a hoax. Skye is furious. Sonny leaves alone and goes to Mike's apartment and asks for help with Courtney. Alan looks AJ over at the hospital and tells him that he can't find anything wrong with him except that he has bumps and bruises. AJ begs his father to admit him to the hospital for observation and tells him that it has to do with Michael and getting him back. Alan doesn't want to do it since it involves the hospital. AJ is good at guilt trips though and it looks like Alan will cave in and help.

Jax and Skye bang heads again with Skye laying into him about how it must be so nice to be perfect and never have to worry about anyone crushing you and never having to be desperate. She then storms off leaving Jax shaking his head.

Luke continues to torment Helena in her jail cell. She then doubles over and holds her stomach complaining of sickness. She wants a doctor but Luke refuses to get help. He teases her when Mac shows up and has a guard help her to the hospital. He tells Luke that she has surgery coming up and that she really is sick. Luke then shows up at the hospital and pretends to be a doctor. He and Sarah are the only ones in the room and Helena begs for Sarah's help. Luke then fills Sarah in on how Helena tried to kill her sister. An officer comes in then and arrests Luke for impersonating a doctor.

AJ awakens in the morning to find Courtney still sitting by his hospital bed. Luke is collared for impersonating a doctor at GH. Though Zander offers to pay for the damage he caused at the club, Carly assures her friend it's she who owes him her thanks for saving Sonny from an assault charge. Edward grouses when Skye drops by the mansion to see Lila. Sonny urges Mike to find a credible way to make Courtney listen to reason before he's forced to take drastic action against AJ Carly reminds a worried Zander why she must put an end to AJ's destructive manipulations. Meanwhile, AJ slyly continues to worm his way deeper and deeper into Courtney's heart. Mac releases Luke but warns him to keep his distance from Helena. Nikolas visits his "ailing" grandmother, who utters a cryptic message and instructs him to puzzle out its meaning. Skye explains to a sympathetic Lila why it's so important for her to regain control of ELQ. Janine blurts out to Sonny that AJ intends to marry her daughter.
