Sonny proposes to Kate in the spot where they were supposed to meet and run away together as teenagers. He makes a heartfelt plea to her and tells her that she has his heart. Kate tells Sonny that he has hers, as well. Sonny presses Kate to marry him, but she says that it's not that simple. She has tears in her eyes when Sonny tells her that if she cannot say, "Yes," then not to bother saying, "No." Kate heaves a huge sigh and runs away. A dejected Sonny looks at the fortuneteller's card, which reads, "You will stand alone." He crumples the card and puts it in his pocket. He tosses the ring box on the ground as he walks away. Kate is bereft when she comes back, finds Sonny gone, and sees the ring box on the ground. Sonny goes to the movie house. He remembers a heartfelt conversation between himself and Kate when she was Connie Falconeri. He calls one of his subordinates and orders him to make an offer that cannot be refused. He buys Fortunato's and the movie house, and tells Moose to go purchase the place in Florida that he has always wanted. When Moose asks a heartbroken Sonny if he will redecorate, he tells him "Yes. Something like that." When everyone is gone, Sonny uses the fortuneteller's card to light a fire that will torch both places. A sad, hurt Sonny, walks outside, picks up the box, replaces the ring, then throw it as far as he can before walking away without looking back.

Jerry, "Mr. Moreau," has another conversation with the tattooed man whose face is hidden. The tattooed man is not happy to hear that there are "complications" with the shipment. He warns Jerry that he might "forget" that they have a prior relationship if anything interferes with the shipment coming into Port Charles.

Logan and Lulu are tied up and on the Zacchara ship that is transporting Moreau's goods. Spinelli has followed them, but leaves to find Jason. Before Jason can look in on Liz, Max finds him and tells him that a Zacchara ship is using their shipping lanes. Jason instructs Max to take out the Zacchara ship. Spinelli shows up and lets Jason know that Lulu is on the ship. Jason stops Max from taking action. Meanwhile, a wounded Johnny, unaware that Logan and Lulu are aboard, sneaks in the boiler room to sabotage the ship. A man with a gun stops him before he can light the fuse on the bomb he has.

Logan is mad at himself for listening to Spinelli and Johnny instead of going to the police. Lulu tells him that Spinelli and Johnny know what they are doing. Logan tells her it's all Johnny's fault that she was kidnapped. She knows everything, she tells him. Johnny told her when she met him in the tunnels. Logan is jealous and insults Johnny's father. Lulu reminds him of Scott's colorful past, but Logan insists that Scott is not crazy like Anthony Zacchara. When he notices that she is constantly looking at the door, he wonders out loud if she is expecting Johnny to rescue her. She does not admit it, nor does she share the flashback of a passionate kiss between herself and Johnny. Logan manages to free himself, and as he is about to untie Lulu, Moreau's men rush in. He struggles as one of them order's another to shoot Lulu. Before he can take action, Johnny, Jason, and Spinelli arrive and subdue Moreau's troops. Logan, Lulu, Spinelli, and Jason leave the ship. Johnny stays behind to light the fuse that has been set in the boiler room. After the fuse is lit, and before he can escape, Johnny is attacked by a Moreau man. On the docks, Jason, Lulu, Spinelli, and Logan see and hear the boat explode.

Kelly tells Robin that she is pregnant. Robin is shocked. She insists that she has not had unprotected sex, and then remembers the broken condom on the night of Georgie's funeral when she slept with Patrick.

Patrick tells Nikolas that his tumor may be causing hallucinations and details reported episodes where persons in similar circumstances had smelled and felt loved ones who were not there. Nikolas denies that he is having hallucinations, but asks to be alone. As soon as Patrick is gone, he tells Emily what he has learned. A tearful Emily says that she must go, but Nikolas wants her to stay. He vows that he will bring her back if she goes away. He would rather have the tumor and die, than lose Emily. She wants him to live. She asks him to close his eyes and kisses him. When he opens his eyes, she is gone. A depressed Nikolas goes looking for Emily. He thinks he sees her at the nurse's station, but it is someone else. He returns to his room saddened, but finds a soulful Emily sitting on his bed.

In the doctor's lounge, Robin overhears Leo and Patrick talking. Patrick admits that he is interested in Leyla because she has shown an interest in him. There is no future with Robin, he tells Leo, because she wants children and he does not. A shaken Robin does not give him the news about her pregnancy, and later insists to Kelly that they keep the pregnancy a secret from everyone for the time being. When Robin sees Patrick again, she wants to tell him, but she does not. After he leaves the lounge, a tearful Robin lies down on a bench and hugs herself.

Dr. Leo tells Liz that she will not be released from the hospital, because he is afraid that she will rip out the stitches in her leg. Lucky brings Jake, who can be released, to see her. They have a happy conversation and she asks him to watch the boys while she is in the hospital recovering. He quickly agrees. Jason sees them together and does not interrupt. A happy Lucky takes Jake away. Although Jason sees them, Lucky does not see Jason. Jason goes to Liz's room, but Leo is about to go in, so he turns away. When her door opens, Liz hopes it's Jason, but is disappointed when Leo walks in.

Tuesday, January 22

Coop overhears as Mac and Detective Harper talk about the DNA results from Georgie's murder, which are due back soon. They still suspect that the results will come back as Johnny's DNA. The mayor comes in and asks about what they are doing to put Joe behind bars. Mac mentions that Ric is nowhere to be found. Scott thinks this is his opportunity to take Ric's place, but Alexis steps in and says that she is taking Ric's place while he is out on vacation temporarily. Maxie stops by the station and wants to talk to Mac about Georgie's case. They go into the interrogation room and talk. While they are busy, the DNA results are delivered. Coop takes them from the man and offers to deliver them to Mac. Trevor comes to talk to Alexis. She tells him she doesn't have time, but he says that he is looking for his son after the explosion on the pier. Once Trevor leaves, Alexis gives Scott some busy work. After she leaves, Scott tells Logan that when he find something that he wants to do, Scott will help him get a job. He needs to impress Lulu. Scott leaves, and Logan notices the file folder on the desk with the DNA results from Georgie's murder.

Mac comes to talk to Felicia about the case. She tells him that she has been going over the list of suspects. He tells her he doesn't want her to do this. She tries to explain that she has to do it for her daughters. Max says that Felicia didn't just leave the girls. She left him, too. When the girls needed someone, he was there. He got a lot wrong, but at least he was there for them. Now Georgie is dead, and he wants to be the one to find her killer. Felicia says that she can help. Mac says there was a time he would have welcomed that. Not now, though. She cries as he leaves. Mac goes out to retrieve the DNA results. He tells Scott that he ran the test through the whole system. He opens the file folder and it is empty. His daughter's killer was in the station and stole the results.

A woman steps outside of a house and starts to lock up when she spots Ric. She asks him if she can help him. He tells her that he used to live there. The house has been in his family for generations. She doesn't live there, but she checks on it for the owners. She thinks it's a beautiful house. The owners only use it for holidays. She thinks it is sad inside, and he agrees. She starts to say something, but changes her mind. She says that everyone always tells her that she talks too much. He convinces her to go ahead and tell him what she was thinking, and she tells him that it looks like the house isn't the only thing that is sad on the inside. She tells him that she forgot something inside and goes back in. Meanwhile, Trevor leaves a message for Ric and asks him to reconsider giving him the piers. When he hangs up, Trevor's men tell him there is no sign of Johnny. They know that Jason is the man in the way of Moreau. They aim to find Jason's weak spot.

At the hospital, Lulu asks Leyla if anyone was brought into the ER last night. Leyla tells her that no one has been brought in. Tracy comes over and tells Lulu that her father has escaped. They both can't believe that Luke pulled another stunt so soon. Tracy asks Lulu how her visit with her mother was, and Lulu says it was fine. Tracy tells her that she knows she was lying. Logan comes up and tells Tracy that Lulu was staying with him. Tracy buys the story and tells Lulu that she needs to start coming home. After Tracy leaves, Logan asks Lulu if she was at the hospital trying to find out if Johnny was there. Lulu agrees to leave Johnny up to Jason and to do what he says. Logan doubts that Lulu can do that.

Dr. Julian comes to check on Liz, who admits that she is having nightmares and is not sleeping. She asks for things to draw with, and then she asks what the date is. Carly comes in and tells her that she knows darn well what the day is. Carly says Liz knows that it's Jason's birthday and should give Jason the gift of spending his birthday with his son. Carly is going to do her best to convince Jason to go for custody of Jake. The fire proves that Liz isn't keeping Jake safe and is an unfit mother. Liz is shocked that Carly is being so hateful. They continue to argue until Jax comes in. He praises Liz for her bravery in rescuing Jake. He tells her that her kids are in good hands and they should all do everything possible to make sure things stay that way. Carly relents to the pressure and they both leave to plan Jason's birthday party.

Sam stops by Lucky's to talk to him. He tells her that he has his hands full. He appears with Jake who has just woken up. Lucky tells her he has been driving Jake around to get him to sleep. It's something that Laura used to do for Lulu. Sam tells Lucky that she's missed him. They talk about Joe and Nikolas and how they are both good people that lashed out in a time of desperation. Sam compares herself to them. She apologizes for telling Carly about Jake, but she feels very hurt and loses perspective when she thinks about Jason and Liz. He asks her if it is out of her system, and she says that would be nice. She turns to leave, and Lucky stops her. He tells her that if she doesn't mind ravioli and canned peas, he would like to have a late dinner with her. She smiles and agrees.

Lucky takes Jake to see Liz at the hospital. She is thrilled to see her little boy. Cameron is with a neighbor. Liz asks how Jake is sleeping, and Lucky tells her how he's been using Laura's old trick to get Jake to sleep.

On the docks, Trevor and his men surround Jason with guns drawn. Trevor tells Jason he has 5 seconds to tell him where Johnny is. Jason says he doesn't know where Johnny is. Max comes onto the scene with his own gun drawn and Trevor's men put their guns down. Trevor tells Jason that if Johnny has been harmed, it will be Jason's fault. Jason says that Trevor pushed him into this life, so if anyone is to blame it is Trevor. When Trevor leaves, Jason tells Max and Milo to search for Johnny. Max mentions that it might not be a bad thing for Johnny to never show back up. Jason says that Johnny may not be the bad guy that he and Sonny think he is. He's just a kid trying to outrun his father's reputation. Jason leaves a message for Sonny and keeps him up to date with what is going on with the Zacchara family. He hangs up and Lulu approaches him. They argue about Johnny, and Jason tells her to stay away from Johnny if she wants to help him. He tells her that he has Max and Milo looking for Johnny. It's all that he can do.

A woman answers the door that Jerry stands outside. She welcomes him in where he meets with his old friend. The man is disappointed in the failure of the most recent shipment. He let a band of Hardy boys ruin everything and now their shipment is at the bottom of the harbor. Jerry tells him that he has done damage control. The man wants Jerry to concentrate on getting the piers for him. It's too dangerous to deal with the Corinthos family and the Zacchara family. Jerry questions his desire for the piers for himself. Doesn't he mean for both of them? The man agrees and calls him an old friend again.

Lulu enters a building with crates that have Alcazar's name on them. She finds Johnny and gets him to wake up. He is still badly injured, but he refuses to see a doctor. He doesn't want Jason or Trevor to know where he is, either. She leaves to get medical help. She goes back to the hospital and pays a visit to Liz. She tells her that she needs a favor. It's personal and Liz can't ask any questions. A person is hurt, but they can't see a doctor. Liz knows right away, and tells Lulu to get some antibiotics from the supply closet in the emergency room. Lulu finds the drugs and comes back to show Liz what she is taking. Unknowingly, she just barely missed Monica slipping into the supply closet to sneak a drink and re-fill her water bottle with alcohol. Liz now asks Lulu to do her a favor. It is also personal and requires that Lulu ask no questions. Lulu agrees. Lulu meets up with Jason and hands him the picture of Jake that Liz drew, and wishes him a happy birthday. Lulu goes back to the warehouse, but she can't find Johnny.

Jax and Carly come home and talk to the boys. Carly wants Michael to help Morgan wrap Jason's birthday present. He thinks Morgan is a baby, and he tells Carly that Jason really isn't into parties, anyway. He goes upstairs, and Carly wonders aloud what is wrong with him. Jax thinks he's just growing up, which is something his mother should consider doing. She asks him how long he has been saving up that comment. He tells her that she needs to quit meddling in Jason's business. Jake isn't her child. She has no right attacking Jake's mother, especially in the hospital. Jason comes in and agrees. He is upset that Carly has told yet another person about Jake's paternity. He tells her to leave Liz and Jake alone. That's all he wants for his birthday. Carly tells him that a new leather jacket would be more practical, and Jax says it would also be more long lasting. Jax comes over and wishes Jason a happy birthday. He has to leave to check on a hotel in Hawaii. He kisses Carly goodbye and tells her to keep an eye on Michael because he seems to be going through a phase. After Jax leaves, Jason wants to know why Carly is doing this. There has to be a reason. He suggests that since she can't give Jax a baby that maybe she's trying to get Jason's baby for him. He knows that Carly isn't going to stop. The boys come downstairs and wish Jason a happy birthday. He opens his gifts while Carly puts candles on the cake.

Wednesday, January 23

Lulu follows Johnny's blood trail to Luke's old boat, "The Haunted Star." Johnny is feverish and barely conscious. He urges her to leave, but she tells to him that she's not very good at taking orders. She gives him antibiotics, and bandages his leg wound. He tells her that he could have killed her if he had succeeded in blowing up the boat the first time he tried. Even though he was unaware that Lulu was aboard the boat, Johnny tells her he has no idea how he could live with himself if she had died in the explosion.

A weakened Johnny phones Trevor and says to call off the search for him. He refuses to tell Trevor where he is. Before Trevor can accuse Sonny of blowing up the Zacchara ship, Johnny confesses that he blew it up and will do it again if Trevor tries to do anything without his consent. Trevor gets tough and warns Johnny not to threaten him. Johnny tells Trevor the same thing. He warns Trevor that there will be an accounting when he gets home. Trevor tells his henchman, Mr. Vaughn, that Johnny is becoming as much of a problem as Jason Morgan. Trevor has a solution-to replace Johnny with a female member of the family who will be more responsive to Trevor's manipulations. They also discuss the dire need they have for the pier properties, which are a requisite to establishing their operational base in Port Charles. The piers now belong to Ric, but Trevor is sure that he can force Ric to surrender the real estate.

Johnny's fever does not recede and he becomes increasingly ill. Lulu covers him with a blanket and will not leave him alone, even though he insists. He asks about the boat they are on so she tells him about her parents, their love for each other, and how they might have saved the world. Johnny says that he does not know what love looks like, and then passes out. Lulu revives him and wants him to get treatment from a doctor. He tells her emphatically, "No doctor!" Johnny remembers another fever he had when he was a young boy. He talks about his mother and how she wrapped him in a blanket and held him in her arms. That might be what love looks like he muses. Lulu sees him shiver and wraps her arms around her. He tells her that she is beautiful and almost says that he loves her, but does not. Lulu's feelings for Johnny are clear in her eyes. As Johnny sleeps, Lulu stays by his side nursing him with compresses to ease the fever.

Ric stands at the gate of his family's former home, flashing back to his conversation with Sonny when Ric acknowledged ownership of the property and belittled Sonny's Bensonhurst background. When the woman caretaker interrupts and offers him a cup of coffee, he accepts. She asks him if he has lost something. He says, "Yes, me." Ric and the woman exchange chitchat. Ric admits that he is still haunted by an unhappy childhood. Ric and the woman seem to connect for a moment, then she leaves and Ric is alone outside the gate. Ric flashes back to the time he lured Sonny to the house to confront him with the fact that he was Sonny's brother. He had accused Sonny of deliberately trying to kill him by pushing their mother down the stairs, a story told by Trevor, which Sonny adamantly denied. A reflective Ric walks away, as a thoughtful Trevor moves to the spot Ric has vacated, and pauses.

At the hospital, Jason wakes Liz, who is very happy to see him. He tells her how proud he is of her. He thanks her for saving Jake, who he calls "our son." He tells her how scared he was when the ER was taken over by the bomber. He confesses that he always thought that a threat to Jake would come as a result of his life choices, not as result of circumstance. Liz is quick to blame herself because Cameron was playing with matches. She wants to know if Jason has changed his mind and now wants to claim Jake. He tells her how much he wants to be with both of them because he loves them so much, but he knows that the decision to keep Jake's parentage a secret is for the best. They decide to continue stealing whatever happiness they can. Jason agrees to stay with Liz until she falls asleep. Later, on the pier, an emotional Jason is holding a picture of Jake and says, " Will you forgive me?" At the same moment Liz wakes with a gasp.

At the PCPD, Maxie wants a moment with Mac, but he is distracted. Scott is there and Mac has just acknowledged to him that the lab results on the killer's DNA test (which apparently were not backed up or copied) have disappeared from his desk. Both suspect that the killer is a PCPD officer.

On the docks, the text message killer tries to strangle a struggling Alexis. Before he can finish, Sam appears and interferes. She screams and attacks him. Together they fight him off. Mike hears her and comes to their aid, but the killer escapes. Alexis gets a message on her phone from the killer who threatens to kill her first, then her "bitch daughter." Lucky arrives. Sam, Mike, and Alexis tell their stories. None saw the strangler's face. All they can tell Lucky is that the killer was dressed in black, and wore a ski mask and black gloves. Mike suggests that Alexis go to the hospital, but she refuses. Instead, she tells Lucky, they are going to the PCPD to find out what is being done to catch the killer.

Back at the station, Coop is adjusting his tie when he walks in and finds Maxie still waiting to talk to Mac. Before she can talk to him, Mac and Scott want to talk to Coop. They ask about the test results. He tells them that he did not give them directly to Mac because Mac had asked not to be disturbed while he talked to Felicia. Instead, he left them in Mac's "In" basket before going out on a call. When asked if he saw the results, he tells a suspicious Mac and Scott that he did not.

At the nurse's station, Kelly approaches Robin about her pregnancy. Robin urges her to keep this information private. Patrick overhears her but thinks she is talking about Nikolas. Robin and Patrick argue about Nikolas. He wants to know why she did not tell him that Nikolas has decided against the surgery. She responds that it is because she has not talked to Nikolas. Patrick insists that he can save his life. Robin says that Patrick cannot just strap Nikolas to a gurney, split his head open and put another notch on the OR table like he does on his belt. She taunts him further by telling him that there is a vacant supply closet not being used on the fifth floor. Hotheaded Patrick is angry and responds that he is happy they broke up. Now he is glad that he did not get her pregnant.

In his hospital room, Nikolas tells Emily that he will not have the operation to remove his tumor because he will not risk losing her. Emily tells him "There is more for you to live for in this world than just me." Nikolas responds, "I don't know what to believe." Nurse Nadine walks in and hears his side of the conversation. She says, "There is more in this world than most people believe, we just have to keep ourselves open to the unexpected, don't we?" She has brought release papers for him to sign. Nadine asks if she has driven Emily away. Nikolas is intrigued because Nadine seems to accept that seeing Emily is normal. She goes on to share that she understands because she communicates with someone who is gone, someone that she loves. She also tells him that she does not consider it an excuse not to live her life, but she does believe in hanging on until it is time to let go. "How do you know when the time comes?" inquires Nikolas. "I don't know," says Nadine. "I'm not there myself, but I can say you will know it in here. " She points to her heart, before exiting.

Outside the room a contemplative Nadine fingers her locket. Leyla notices and asks Nadine if she is okay. She starts to question Nadine about the locket, but is paged before Nadine answers. Nadine walks away. Leyla smiles when she sees that the page is from Patrick, apparently suggesting another romantic rendezvous.

Robin visits Nikolas and tells him that there are no alternative treatments and that his only chance is surgery. He wants to know how to let go of something important to him.

Leyla goes to the examining room and when Patrick arrives, she is naked and waiting for him. Patrick tells her that he paged her for a consult, not a tryst and that Dr. Ford is on his way. Leyla dresses hastily and is very upset about potential damage to her career. Patrick laughs and tells her he was joking. He was playing a game, he says. Dr. Ford is gone for the day. An angry Leyla slaps Patrick, but before she can stalk out of the room, Patrick grabs her and they kiss passionately. They start to make love, but a playful Leyla slips away, grabs Patrick's clothes and says, "If it's games you want, doctor, I will win." She scampers outside to the hall. Patrick opens the door and several staff members see him in the altogether as Leyla tosses his clothes in a laundry hamper. From down the corridor, a tearful Robin sees all.

Scott meets with Logan on the docks. He wants to know if Logan took the DNA test results as a way to have a hold over Johnny Zacchara. Logan is incensed and tells Scott to leave him alone because he no longer wants any help from him. As a parting shot before storming off, Logan says he's glad that at least Scott did not think that he was the text message killer.

Back at the PCPD, Coop tells Maxie that he is on duty and cannot spend any time with her. Maxie tells Mac that Felicia left town after Mac refused to let her help with the investigation into Georgie's death. Alexis, who is filling in for Ric while he's gone, demands that an APB be issued for Johnny.

In a hidden corner outside Kelly's, we see the missing lab results. The DNA is a match for Coop, who is holding the paperwork. He puts it away and takes out his cell phone.

Alexis, Sam, and Lucky go to the docks to look for Alexis's missing keys, which were lost during her struggle with the text message killer. Lucky wants to assign a guard, but when Alexis finds her keys, she tries to protest. At that moment, her cell phone rings, as does Sam's. They both receive messages from the killer. Alexis's phone reads, "Now you'll die slow." Sam's reads, "And you'll watch." Both look grim.

Thursday, January 24

Patrick gets a cold reception from Epiphany when he stops by the nurses' station to pick up some charts. Leyla is also there and explains to him that she got suspended for two weeks without pay because of their tryst in the examining room. Meanwhile, Liz has another dream about the house fire that trapped Jake inside. In the dream, she hears Jake crying for her. She wakes up and runs out into the hall. Julian and Robin find her in the hall and escort her back to her hospital bed. Liz complains to them that she took a sedative that made her dreams worse and that she didn't get much sleep. Robin guesses that she is more likely suffering from post-traumatic stress than just having a dream about the fire. Julian tells Liz that he will prescribe a different sedative that should help her sleep without causing any side effects. Robin tells him she will stay with Liz for awhile.

After Julian leaves the room, Robin locks the door and tells Liz about her surprise pregnancy. Liz is very happy for her and guesses that Patrick is the father since she remembered Robin telling her that she slept with Patrick after Georgie's funeral to seek comfort from him. Robin isn't sure about how she feels about producing a baby the one night she slept with Patrick. She worries that Patrick will think she planned to get pregnant by him that night when it wasn't planned at all. Liz thinks that it was perfect that she got pregnant by Patrick that night because with a death came new life. Robin doesn't plan to tell Patrick about the baby even though she knows he will notice she is pregnant at some point. She thinks she will have to lie to him if he does ask her. She asks for Liz's advice after admitting she is confused about what to do. Liz advises her to tell Patrick the truth because the truth ends up coming out somehow anyway. She also thinks that Patrick may change when he finds out he is going to be a father.

Later, Patrick apologizes to Leyla for getting her in trouble with Dr. Ford and offers to talk to Ford himself and try to fix it. Leyla thanks him but thinks it would be better if he didn't talk to Dr. Ford because Patrick will probably be reprimanded ,also. Patrick wonders how Ford knew about their tryst. Leyla picks up some of his clothes and shows him what he left behind for Ford to find. Julian and an orderly also come by to show clothes he left behind as evidence to what he was up to. Patrick laughs it off. Epiphany tells them all to get back to work. Julian and Patrick head to the nurses' station. Julian asks Patrick if he should ask Liz out for a drink sometime since he thinks she is beautiful. Patrick reminds him that Liz has two children. Robin walks over to the other side of the nurses' station and hears Patrick warning Julian to stay away from Liz and any single mother. He says it will complicate any relationship if kids are involved and he will not make that mistake himself since he doesn't want children in his life. Robin is hurt by what he says and she walks off wondering what she is going to do. Meanwhile, Jason stops by the hospital to check on how Liz is doing. Epiphany informs him that she can only give out patient information to immediate family members but hypothetically tells him that Liz is doing fine physically, but that emotionally she needs to have something to keep her mind off her own thoughts. Liz wakes up to find a note that says, "Don't stop." Liz smiles at the note before going back to sleep.

Lucky shows up at Alexis's house with Cameron and Jake to see Sam and to see how Alexis is doing after the "text-message" killer's attack. Sam tells him that she is fine and Alexis seems okay also. Cameron tries to find Kristina to play with. Alexis thanks Lucky and Sam for agreeing to watch the girls while she goes off for a little while to meet with someone. Sam and Lucky tell her to go and do what she needs to do. Sam says Cameron's red baseball cap reminds her of her late brother Danny, who also wore a red cap. She tells him she misses Danny very much and at one time he was the only man in her life she could count on. She confesses to Lucky that she is so afraid of losing him. Lucky and Sam discuss their relationship. Lucky tells her that he would like to explore their relationship and see where it goes. Sam agrees and they kiss.

Later, Alexis meets with Jerry at Kelly's. She tells him about how she was attacked and how Sam rescued her. Jerry offers to stick close by her and be her shadow in case she gets attacked again. Alexis informs him that she is filling in as D.A. for Ric while Ric is away, so she can't represent Jerry because it would be a conflict of interest. Meanwhile, Ric returns again to his childhood summer home and flashes back to when he confronted Sonny about being his half-brother, and how Sonny accused Ric of pushing their mother down the stairs while she was pregnant for him. Ric goes to a diner nearby and runs into the woman he saw leaving his old house the day before. She tells him that she works mostly at the diner and that she cleans houses to make some extra money. He notices she has a cut on her lip and asks her about it. She tells him that she tripped and fell. She explains that she is a klutz sometimes and is always getting bruises and cuts. Ric accepts her answer and orders some coffee. She guesses what he likes in his coffee and the two of them strike up a nice conversation.

Trevor finds Ric at the diner and sits down to try to persuade him to sell him the waterfront property that Skye gave him. Ric listens to Trevor insult him and doesn't seem inclined to sell the property to him. After Trevor leaves the diner the waitress returns to talk to Ric about what just happened with his father. He tells her he doesn't have a good relationship with his father. She tells him she lost her family at a young age. He says he is sorry for that. She advises Ric to let his hair down and try to enjoy himself while he is there. Ric leaves and returns later wearing a flannel shirt and with his hair all messed up. She notices he forgot to take the tag off the back of his shirt and goes over to help him remove it. They enjoy a good laugh as Trevor watches them from outside.

Later, Trevor gets a phone call from Moreau, a.k.a. Jerry. Jerry uses his fake French accent while talking to Trevor. He warns him that he will take his business to Sonny and Jason if Trevor doesn't get Johnny in line. Meanwhile, Jason finds Michael inside Sonny's office and asks him what he is up to. Michael was about to steal Sonny's gun but managed to shut the desk drawer and acted like he wasn't caught. Jason confronts him about trying to steal the gun and asks him what he planned to do with it. Michael tells him he only came by to see Sonny after not seeing him for a few days. Jason tells him that Sonny will be coming back home soon and not to worry about him. Michael tells Jason that the "text-message" killer is still on the loose and that neither he nor Sonny has found him and killed him yet. Jason gives Michael a lecture about guns not being safe for him to use then tells him to go back to school and let them take care of things. He also tells Michael that neither he nor Sonny wants him to have the kind of life they have and want better things for him. Michael leaves the office. However, he returns later to try to steal the gun again but Jason has managed to lock the desk drawer. Michael takes the letter opener and thinks about breaking into the desk but changes his mind. He leaves unaware that Jason was hiding in the office and watching him. Jason looks very worried about Michael's actions.

Maxie wakes up with Cooper in his room above Kelly's after spending the night with him. Maxie mentions the missing DNA report that was stolen from Mac's desk at the PCPD. Cooper tells her that he still feels awful about Georgie's death and what it has done to her. He suggests that she go away with him to Montreal for a little while. Maxie asks him if he can get time off when he is only a cadet right now. Cooper tells her he thinks he can manage it and suggests they leave tonight. Maxie is reluctant to go with him at first because she doesn't want to leave Mac after everything that has happened. Cooper tells her that Mac would want her to go away because she would probably be safer if she went somewhere else. Maxie agrees to go with him and plans to go home and pack a few things and meet him later. Cooper cleans up his room and finds that he left the DNA results he stole from Mac's desk on the floor. The DNA results show that Cooper is a DNA match for the skin cells they found under Georgie's fingernails. Cooper locks the DNA results into his lock box and hides the box in the bottom drawer of his dresser.

Cooper later runs into Jerry outside of Kelly's. Jerry asks him to dig up some dirt on someone for him. Cooper tells him that whatever he wants him to do will have to wait. Jerry says not to take too long in helping him or Jerry may end up dead himself. Meanwhile, Lulu goes to Kelly's to pick up a large order of food to bring back to Johnny at the "Haunted Star," the old ship Luke owned and made into a casino. She runs into Logan outside of Kelly's on her way to see Johnny. Logan tells her that he is crazy about her and is trying to give her the space she needs. He guesses that she is taking food over to Johnny's hideout and tells her it is okay with him, even though he feels that Johnny is not good for her to be around. He suggests that she meet him later at the park and kisses her goodbye.

Lulu goes to bring Johnny his food. Johnny is playing piano when she gets there. She compliments him on how well he plays. He tells her that he was forced to take piano lessons by his mother when he was five. Later, he found out that the music comforted him after his father killed his mother, and he could hide away to play it and his father wouldn't disturb him. Lulu tells him that Logan knows she is having him hide out somewhere but doesn't know where he is and she feels he won't tell anyone. Johnny tells her that she should stay away from Logan because he isn't good for her, but admits Logan is better for her than he is. Logan follows her and finds out where Johnny is hiding out. Later, Lulu overhears Logan telling Scott that he knows where Lulu is hiding Johnny. Lulu misinterprets what Logan is saying to Scott and thinks he is telling Scott where to find Johnny. Johnny still plays piano after Lulu leaves and thinks about the kiss they shared. He slams down the piano cover in frustration. Lulu returns to "The Haunted Star" and grabs Johnny and kisses him passionately, taking him off guard. It turns out that Logan refused to tell Scott where Lulu was keeping Johnny hidden since it would betray her trust if he did. Later, Cooper goes back to his room and finds Logan waiting there, holding the DNA results in his hand. Logan asks him what he did.
