The Hollywood Christmas Parade is once again set to celebrate the magic of the holidays, but soap opera fans can start celebrating now: the list of daytime stars set to attend the spangly 87th annual event has been revealed.
The parade -- which is being filmed live in Hollywood, California, on Sunday, November 25, and will air nationwide on Friday, December 14, at 8PM on the CW network -- will feature The Young and the Restless' Kate Linder (Esther Valentine), General Hospital's Jackie Zeman (Bobbie Spencer) and Tristan Rogers (Robert Scorpio; ex-Colin Atkinson, Y&R), The Bold and the Beautiful's Sean Kanan (Deacon Sharpe; ex-A.J. Quartermaine, GH), and Days of our Lives' Ian Buchanan (ex-Ian McAllister; ex-James Warwick, B&B; ex-Duke Lavery, GH; ex-Greg Madden, All My Children). No other soap opera attendees have been announced, but more names could be added at any time.
Entertainment Tonight co-host Nancy O'Dell has been named the Grand Marshal, with Erik Estrada, Laura McKenzie, Dean Cain, Montel Williams, Elizabeth Stanton, and Garrett Clayton returning to share hosting duties of the event that will benefit the Marines Toys for Tots Foundation.
Artists set to perform include Ashanti, David Archuleta, The Band of Merrymakers, Clare Dunn, The Tearaways, Ruben Studdard, Elliott Yamin, Blake Lewis, Kimberly Caldwell, Mikalah Gordon, Julia Ara, and more. Telecast-only performances will be given by Donny and Marie Osmond, The Beach Boys, Jane Lynch, Kate Flannery, and Tim Davis. The parade will also feature a special tribute for Toys for Tots by Ludacris and a magic presentation by stars of the CW's Masters of Illusion.
