Lexie told Sami and Rafe that the biopsy showed an abnormality in the tissue sample. She informed them she would refer the test results to a renowned oncologist for a more informed opinion. T caused more problems for Sonny. Taylor blamed Quinn for her past life as a prostitute even though he tried to convince her that she had meant something special to him. Jennifer seemed concerned when Daniel blurted out that he wanted to spend the rest of his life with her. Carly blamed Dr. Norman for forcing Nicholas to admit that he could never forgive his mom for killing his father. Later, Melanie blasted Nicholas for abandoning Carly and convinced him that they should stand by their mom in her time of need. Mandy testified to the police about her assault on the pier. She described a few details about the attacker that might help the police identify him. Chloe decided to meet up with one of her escorts on her own, and later became the attacker's next victim. Kinsey told a shocked Brady and Nicole that Chloe was turning tricks for a local pimp to earn money to provide a good home for Parker. Later, Brady found Chloe at the pier, bloodied, beaten, and unconscious. After talking with Maggie, Hope and Jennifer agreed that she should remain at Victor's to recuperate.
Kristina was plagued by dizzy spells, and bouts of debilitating neck pain, which led to her passing out after one of her attacks. Skye asked Ethan to watch over Edward because she feared that Anthony might harm her grandfather. Johnny tried to persuade Skye to reveal the details of her plans with Anthony, but Skye refused to trust Johnny. Robin was furious to have been left out of the loop when the police had decided to launch a sting operation in the hospital to lure Anthony into making a move against Jason, who remained unconscious following brain surgery. Steve explained that the district attorney's office had been concerned about Robin's objectivity because of her close relationship to Jason, so they had turned to Steve for help. Matt was frustrated when Maxie continued to obsess over Spinelli. Spinelli had a breakthrough during his visit with Jason. Elizabeth was grateful when Matt covered for her by replacing the two missing bottles of hydrocodone from the hospital's supply closet. Matt and Elizabeth realized that someone had stolen one of the bottles of pills because Elizabeth had only removed one bottle of the narcotics for Matt to test. Lucky became defensive when Elizabeth told him about the theft. Lulu and Lucky had a heated argument about his drug use. Lucky denied Lulu's accusation that he had relapsed, but he later took a hydrocodone pill. Shawn revealed that it appeared that Jax had managed to parachute out of the jet before it had crashed into the harbor. Carly was eager to tell Morgan that Jax was alive, but Shawn advised her against it because it was clear that Jax had decided to lay low for a while. Carly and Shawn realized that Jax had stolen her boat to get out of town, so she covered for Jax by claiming that she had sold the yacht. Sonny demanded to see Morgan, but Carly revealed that she had changed Morgan's name, and then sent him to a military academy, far away from Sonny's reach.

A murder mystery began to unfold when Victor was shot dead in his living room. Téa arrived on the scene seconds later, but Victor died in her arms without naming his killer. Jack and Dani were grief-stricken when they learned of Victor's death because they considered him to be their father. Louie, the homeless man, spotted Todd as Todd was on the verge of throwing the gun that he had taken out of Dorian's safe into the water. Louie asked Todd for the gun. Louie explained that John had started a program where people could turn in guns in exchange for one hundred dollars. Todd agreed to give Louie the gun if Louie promised to turn the gun over to John. Jack was found unconscious outside of the hospital following Victor's shooting. Jack admitted that he had gone to Victor's house to warn Victor that Todd had a gun, but someone had attacked Jack from behind. Jack was certain that Todd had been the assailant. Rex and Shane appeared to suspect each other of the murder when they learned about Victor's death via a news report. Brody was relieved that Victor was dead because it meant that Liam's paternity secret was safe. Felicia was furious when Nora reminded Felicia that Matthew had rights to Destiny's child, even though Matthew was in a coma. Felicia accused Nora of trying to replace Matthew with Destiny's baby, and then suggested that all future discussions about the baby be handled through their attorneys. Aubrey was surprised when she learned that Cutter had taken a job at the motel to satisfy her desire for him to make an honest living. Kim visited the mystery patient, to give her a picture of Sierra Rose, Stacy's daughter. Kim discovered that Cutter was in Llanview, so she went to see him. Cutter was taken aback when the real Aubrey Wentworth showed up on his doorstep. Rama suggested that one of the ladies from Cris's past might be his true love. Cris revealed that everyone except Jessica had left town.

What happened during the week of
Noah bailed on the record deal with Tucker's label. Tucker gave Devon 24 hours to find a replacement for Noah. Nina was distraught about Ronan's disinterest in having a relationship. Cane delivered Lily the signed divorced papers and said he was returning to Australia. Neil, Malcolm, and Sofia learned that the baby's paternity could not be determined until he was born. Malcolm angrily told Neil he'd never forgive him. Tucker fired Devon. Jack comforted Genevieve after Colin gave her the final divorce decree. Genevieve and Jill were each hired as head of marketing for Jabot. Jack forced them to work together. Tucker warned Kay that he'd get Jabot back from her. Colin and Jill made love. Paul's investigation revealed that Tucker's son was Devon. Kay kept the information about Devon from Tucker and then offered Devon a job, creating a new label. Chloe was upset with Ronan. Lily stopped Cane from leaving town and let him spend time with the twins. Daniel informed Neil that Lily had let Cane back into her life. Sharon agreed to let Avery remain on the case. When Chloe returned home after having sex with Ronan, she learned that Delia was desperately ill. Jack asked Kay to sell Jabot to him.
