What happened during the week of October 27, 2014

Rick was devastated to learn that Caroline and Ridge had shared intimate moments together and that Eric had chosen Ridge over Rick. Maya and Rick spent a night together, and Rick turned his back on Forrester and Caroline. The disillusioned Caroline was still determined to repair her marriage despite Rick's affair. Disappointed with Ridge's actions with Caroline, Eric rescinded his offer to Ridge and offered the CEO position to Rick. Rick renounced the job and Forrester, but Maya urged him to reconsider so they could run Forrester together. Ivy and Liam teamed up to win prizes at a Halloween Party.

What happened during the week of October 27, 2014

Will accepted the job and left Salem with Sami and the kids. Lucas and Sami shared some fond memories from their past. Jennifer lashed out at Daniel and told him they were through. Kristen's plan to expose Theresa to Brady did not go the way she had planned. Brady accused Kristen of lying to him again and stormed out. Brady was outraged when he learned that John and Theresa had lied to him. Brady rushed off to talk to Daniel but was shocked to find Daniel in bed with Kristen. Unaware that Brady had seen them, Daniel and Kristen were glad they had not made love. Kristen made plans to leave town. Brady, distraught and angry, headed for the nearest bar but did not give in to his desires. Aiden seemed shaken when he met face-to-face with a woman from his past. Sami bid a tearful goodbye to her family as she left Salem with the kids to start a new life. Sonny was sad to see Will leave but supported his decision. J.J. struggled with whether or not to tell Paige the truth about Jack. Paige learned that Jack had raped Kayla.

What happened during the week of October 27, 2014

Madeline and Nina hid out in Liesl's office to plot their next move to get Ava's baby. Madeline lured Silas away from Ava's side when Morgan left to confront Sonny, so Nina seized the opportunity to slip into the brownstone with vials of medications: one to paralyze Ava and another to induce labor. Ava was horrified that Nina intended to steal Ava's baby. Heather managed to foil Shawn's plan to kill Franco by taking Jordan hostage when Jordan went snooping around Sonny's warehouse. Franco took Shawn's gun and phone then sent Sonny a text message that Franco was dead. Heather waited until Shawn arrived to rescue Jordan to lock the couple in a room. Morgan was stunned when Sonny confessed to killing A.J. before he played the recording of Ava admitting to murdering Connie. Jason took his first steps with Elizabeth's assistance, so Liesl decided that "Jake" could be discharged from the hospital. Tracy was furious when Jerry tricked her by sending Larry Ashton, Ned's father, rather than Luke in exchange for the shares of ELQ. At the Haunted Star, Spencer revealed to Carly that Franco had known that Spencer had been hiding out at Carly's house. Spencer explained that Franco had kept quiet about Spencer because Spencer had caught Franco trying to hack into Carly's email to gather proof against Sonny. Franco assured Carly that it would never happen again, so Carly agreed to go through with the wedding. However, Franco had an unexpected shocking surprise for Carly as Franco and Carly exchanged wedding vows.
