What happened during the week of January 5, 2015

Eric and Caroline were disappointed and hurt to learn that Rick had deceived them to get control of Forrester for one year. Unable to undo the contract, Eric took off for his extended trip. Caroline begged Rick to help heal their marriage, but he once again took off his wedding ring. While Caroline moved into the cliff house, Maya and Rick moved into the mansion. To everyone's shock, Rick replaced Stephanie's portrait with a portrait of Maya. Rick paraded Caroline in front of the portrait, and Caroline accused Rick of lashing out because he still loved Caroline. Rick denied it, and Maya prophesied that she'd be the next Forrester matriarch.

What happened during the week of January 5, 2015

Brady and Melanie realized they were more than just friends. Serena had it out with Nicole for snooping in her hotel room. Nicole and Daniel made love. Nicole received a strange phone tip about Serena's past. Sonny told Chad the new club had failed, and all their money was gone. Rafe accused Chad of sending the letter that got him fired. Chad made Sonny believe he was on Sonny's side then lied to Jordan and told her he had not set up Rafe. Will asked Paul if he was gay. Paul told Will he was gay then made love to Will. Theresa thought about what her life would have been if she had been pregnant with Brady's child. Victor offered Rafe a job. Victor purchased a new club for Sonny. Adrienne told Lucas that she thought Justin might be having an affair. Sonny was surprised when he stopped by to see Paul and almost caught Paul in bed with Will.

What happened during the week of January 5, 2015

Jake confided to Carly that he'd experienced flashbacks indicating that he might have been the gunman who had held Sam hostage while helping Cesar Faison escape. Sam turned to Nikolas for help trying to prove that Jake had been Faison's accomplice. Nikolas neglected to mention that Helena remained in town. Helena arranged a meeting with Jake. Elizabeth appeared conflicted about her feelings for Jake even though she seemed determined to move on with Ric. Olivia and Julian ended up in bed together when they tried to make Ned and Alexis jealous on New Year's Eve. Johnny's murder conviction was vacated when Delores Padilla testified that she had coerced his confession because there had been a conspiracy to convict Johnny of Anthony's murder. Julian decided to confess to killing Anthony to avoid the hit that the impostor had put out on him for failing to kill Jordan. Ava named her daughter Avery. Julian and Sonny became reluctant allies in jail. Luke learned that he was being held captive in the basement of his childhood home. Michael decided to build the new waterfront medical clinic on the site of Bobbie's childhood home but was surprised to learn that Bill Eckert owned the property even though Bill had been dead for decades. Sly Eckert assured Michael that Michael was welcome to use the property as Michael saw fit. Michael was shocked to learn that Luke and Bobbie had an older sister named Patricia.

Billy got his wedding ring tattoo removed, and Chelsea removed her wedding band. Chelsea hired Sharon as a fitting model. Adam was livid when he learned he had to stay married to Sage for two more years to receive Gabriel's inheritance. Adam manipulated Chelsea into giving him a tour of the penthouse, and he stole Connor's toy car. Nick was suspicious when "Gabriel" didn't remember an incident from their youth. Mariah became uncomfortable when her newfound family threw a birthday party for her and Cassie. Mariah lashed out by kissing Austin, but Kevin encouraged her to admit she really wanted to love and be loved. Abby stole a sample of Jabot's secret formula from the lab. Michael finally decided to begin aggressive therapy to battle his cancer. Devon rebuffed Gwen's sexual advances, but he invited her back to his suite after Neil told him that Hilary was trying to get pregnant. Joe tricked Avery into meeting him privately so he could ask for a second chance, but she reacted by suggesting to Dylan that they get married right away. Kevin informed Dylan and Avery that Victor owned Gerolamo. Dylan publicly confronted Victor during Joe's cocktail party. Joe welcomed Colin as an investor. Nikki took a drink after she learned Victor had lied to her. Jill and Cane teamed up to wrestle Chancellor away from Victor.
