What happened during the week of January 12, 2015
Ridge warned Rick that if he said he didn't love Caroline one more time, Ridge would believe it. Caroline and Carter pressed Maya to see that Rick was on the rebound, and Maya confronted Rick about whether he loved her. Just before she walked out on him, he said that he did. Rick answered a video-call from Caroline while in bed with Maya, and later, he discovered Stephanie's gun in the nightstand. Ridge convinced Caroline to move on and take it slowly with him. During an argument, Ridge declared that he wasn't taking orders from Rick, and Maya ordered Ridge to respect his boss or work elsewhere.

A stranger offered Nicole dirt on Serena, but she passed on it to keep her promise to Daniel. Ben slipped and told Jordan that Clyde had donated the money for her project. Jordan and Clyde had an intense meeting. Clyde pushed Jordan to face a painful memory about her past. Chad told Kate that Jordan was off-limits. Paige was on a mission to find the woman she thought had slept with J.J. Victor and Clyde were at odds. Serena had a big secret. J.J. told Jennifer he had slept with someone else, and it was why he had ended things with Paige. Eve almost told Jennifer that she had slept with J.J. Maggie walked in on Brady and Melanie in a passionate kiss. Paul told Will he had changed his mind about coming out in the article. Serena picked a fight with Nicole at Victor's club opening.

What happened during the week of January 12, 2015
Sonny asked Shawn to tail the impostor to find out if Luke Spencer was alive and where the impostor might be hiding him. Shawn followed the impostor to the old house on Elm Street then slipped inside minutes before Helena arrived. Michael's assistant quit after eloping in Las Vegas, so Michael hired Rosalie. Helena admitted that she had been proud when she'd learned that Nikolas had rigged the election by helping Agent Sloane rid a ballot box of votes that had been cast for Felicia. Helena gave Nikolas the shares of ELQ that Jerry Jacks had obtained from Tracy and Alice then revealed that Rosalie secretly worked for the Cassadines. Nikolas embraced his dark side by agreeing to collaborate with Helena to seize control of ELQ. Mayor Lomax fired Anna then hired Kyle Sloane as the new police commissioner. Anna persuaded Jordan to remain undercover but not to trust Kyle. Jordan agreed to report to Dante and Nathan until Anna was reinstated as police commissioner. Anna vowed to prove that Mayor Lomax and Kyle had tampered with the ballots. Helena ordered Jake to kill Sam because Helena couldn't risk Sam discovering that Jake was Helena's secret weapon. Patrick and Sam decided to pick up where they had left off on New Year's Eve by having a romantic dinner then making love.

Ashley suspected Victoria was using Stitch to find out information about Jabot's secret project. Victoria asked Jack and Abby to be Katie's godparents. Victor made Dylan a generous offer to relocate the coffeehouse, but Dylan declined. The mayor put a hold on the sale of the warehouse district, pending a community impact study. Two thugs robbed Crimson Lights and beat up Dylan. Joe denied Avery's accusations that he'd arranged the assault. Avery slapped Joe when he kissed her. Joe hired Austin to film a commercial for his real estate firm. Adam instructed Sage to get closer to Nick to find out more details about Gabriel's past. Chelsea caught "Gabriel" holding Connor. Devon slept with Gwen, who believed it was the start of a real relationship. Devon and Hilary cleared the air and made secret plans for a getaway in Chicago. Neil convinced Cane not to tell the rest of the family about the possibility that Neil's vision was returning. Phyllis learned that Michael had cancer. Phyllis planned a romantic surprise for Jack at the Athletic Club, but he ended up in a rose-covered suite with Kelly after he was given the wrong room number. Phyllis and Kelly accused one another of setting up the situation. Jack sided with Phyllis when the florist confirmed a blonde woman had purchased the roses. Jack confronted Phyllis after he found a blonde wig in her purse.
