What happened during the week of March 9, 2015

Kris announced to Rick that the last step in the divorce was a six-month waiting period. Maya accepted Nicole as a houseguest but was anxious to make it a short stay. Nicole refused to leave and threatened to tell Maya's secret to Rick unless Maya became more welcoming. Brooke declared that she wouldn't allow Quinn and Deacon to get married, but unable to talk Deacon out of it, Brooke got drunk again. Brooke decided to attend an alcoholics' support group, and she and Deacon were surprised to find themselves in the same meeting. Brooke was weak in her resolve, and Deacon suggested they support each other through their sobriety.

What happened during the week of March 9, 2015

Adrienne ripped into Will for cheating on Sonny. Justin had harsh words for Lucas for trying to move in on Adrienne. Jordan said goodbye to Rafe. J.J. asked Paige to take him back, but she refused. Stefano asked Victor to help him take down Kate. Stefano, Victor, and Kate each had their own agenda for the board meeting. Chad helped Abigail out a jam with Anne. Serena's plan to switch the statues did not go as planned. Nicole and Daniel decided to take things slowly. Jennifer had to keep a secret from Daniel. John talked to Paul about a project that would keep him in Salem. Will found out Tori had been lying to Paul. Will blackmailed Tori and forced her to convince Paul to leave Salem. Lucas asked Paul to let Will and Sonny work things out in their marriage.

What happened during the week of March 9, 2015

Silas revealed that Ava had an aggressive form of lymphoma that was quite advanced. Silas explained that Ava might have a chance at survival if Avery's bone marrow was tested, since everyone else in Ava's family had been ruled out as a possible match. Resigned to her fate, Ava refused to subject Avery to the painful process of donating bone marrow. Michael took custody of Avery and announced that he intended to legally change her name to Avery Jerome Quartermaine, so he could call her A.J. Quartermaine. Kiki turned to her uncle for help because she wanted to fight for custody of Avery when she learned that Michael had hired Sabrina to be A.J.'s nanny. Anna made an unexpected appearance at a showdown between Duke and Julian, prompting Shawn to wonder if Jordan had tipped Anna off. Shawn shared his concerns about Jordan with Sonny and Duke, so Duke decided to put Jordan to the test by asking her to kill Julian. Carlos persuaded Julian that Duke needed to be eliminated in order to topple Sonny's empire. At Carly's urging, Jake turned to Sam for help getting a job with Julian's organization. Julian had misgivings about hiring Jake, but he agreed to do it as a favor to Sam. Spinelli was shocked when he saw Jake from behind because he assumed it was Jason. Spinelli continued to try to manipulate Maxie, but Nathan vowed not to give up on Maxie because Nathan loved her. Ric was hurt when Elizabeth broke off their relationship because she had feelings for Jake.

Someone hit Abby over the head in Chancellor Park, but she fibbed to the police that she'd been mugged. Summer and Abby received ominous messages written in lipstick. Summer remembered that she hadn't killed Austin with the bookend. Stitch realized Abby was hiding something, and she confided in him about Austin's murder. Kevin discovered footage on Austin's computer that indicated Austin had intended to expose the greed of the Abbotts and the Newmans in a documentary. Kelly told the police that her accusations against Phyllis had been lies, and Kelly was arrested. Victor visited Kelly and promised she'd get everything she wanted. The charges against Phyllis were dropped. Christine buried herself in work to deal with her grief over her lost child. Michael worried that Lauren would turn to another man if he couldn't satisfy her sexually. Neil told Devon that he'd killed Christine's baby, and Devon passed the news on to Hilary. Victor thought Nikki's story about the accident didn't make sense, and he sensed that Neil had been involved. Dylan and Avery worried that they were drifting apart. Avery presented Phyllis with their grandmother's wedding dress, but Phyllis considered it cursed and burned it in an effort to look toward the future. Phyllis took back Jack's engagement ring. Billy asked "Gabriel" to be his best man. After drinking heavily, Adam prepared to make a toast at Billy and Chelsea's engagement party.
