Eric warned Rick that Ridge had the stock power to take Forrester from them. Betting that Bill hadn't sold his stocks to Liam, Rick offered to give Bill more power at Forrester if Bill voted his stock with Rick. Bill accepted the offer if Rick would get rid of the "disgrace," Maya. Rick socked Bill and walked out on Forrester. As Rick and Maya reconciled, Aly saw Steffy kissing Liam, Forrester's new vice president. Wyatt warned Ivy that Liam would fall for Steffy again, but Ivy advised Wyatt to ask Steffy out. Ridge became the CEO of Forrester and promised to help Caroline walk again.

Brady was stunned that Melanie gave up her own happiness for him and Tate. Melanie and Brady shared happy and sad tears as they said goodbye. Eric broke up a fight between Eve and Jennifer. Eric was shocked to find a photo of Serena and Xander in bed together. Victor blasted Xander and told him to stay clear of Nicole and Daniel. Nicole realized that being with Xander was more trouble than she had thought. Sonny and Will had another fight about Paul. J.J. tried to explain his actions to Paige. Abigail and Chad could not fight their feelings for each other.

What happened the week of June 1, 2015

Franco enlisted Nathan's help to try to manipulate Nina into signing annulment papers. Franco threatened to testify that Nina had confessed to kidnapping Avery if Nina didn't end her marriage to Ric, but Nina called Franco and Nathan's bluff. Ric gloated that he no longer needed Madeline to secure Nina's fortune, but Madeline warned Ric that she could prove that she and Ric had conspired to get control of Nina's fortune. Three separate DNA tests revealed that "Denise" was a close relative to Ava. Delia claimed that Denise was Ava's fraternal twin sister, but Silas knew the truth. It was revealed in flashbacks that Silas had kidnapped Avery to save Ava's life with a bone marrow transplant. Ava explained that the transplant had altered her DNA enough to pass herself off as her own twin sister. Grief turned to passion when Anna slept with Kyle, but she regretted the tryst the following morning. Anna decided to fly to Scotland to scatter Duke's ashes in a special field where he had played as a child. Luke returned to Port Charles because the doctors had deemed that he was no longer a threat to anyone. Dillon arrived in time to try to stop his mother from accepting Luke's proposal of marriage, but Tracy ignored her son's misgivings about the engagement. Rosalie secured Ned's shares of ELQ for Nikolas. Jordan accepted Mayor Lomax's job offer to replace Kyle as police commissioner. Valerie was delighted when Jordan hired her. Everyone was stunned when Laura Spencer crashed Luke and Tracy's engagement party.

The cargo ship captain plotted to sell Jack to the highest bidder among Marco's enemies. Marisa agreed to help "Marco" if she could be part of his life in Genoa City. Marco fibbed to Victor that Gabriel was Jack's son. Nick agreed to let Faith spend one night a week with Sharon as long as Dylan was present. Sage made it through emergency surgery to remove her appendix, but the baby was still in danger. Nick accused Sharon of using Sage's condition to try to get more time with Faith. Chelsea was suspicious of Gabriel's concern about Sage and the baby. Dylan offered Sharon a job at Crimson Lights. Kevin leaked information about the murder case to GC Buzz in an effort to get the police to reopen the investigation, and he was arrested. Paul instructed Detective Harding to quietly keep digging into the case. A response from the killer appeared online, but Mariah admitted to Kevin that she'd posted the reply to get him out of prison. Neil confided to Nikki that he had fantasies about seeking revenge on Hilary and Devon. Neil and Hilary signed divorce papers, and Hilary accepted Devon's proposal. Nikki told Victor that they had to live separate lives for her to maintain her sobriety. Lily became increasingly agitated by Cane and Lauren's closeness. Cane and Lauren kissed. Summer told Avery she'd seen Joe walking on his own. Avery confronted Joe, and he implied that he'd tell the police that she'd caused his accident unless she slept with him.
