Pam, Liam, and Charlie got Caroline to admit that that she was pregnant. Brooke questioned the paternity, but Ridge claimed he'd reversed his vasectomy. When Thomas showed back up in town, Pam told him that he'd have a new sibling. Zende put his feelings aside to support Nicole in her surrogacy decision. Julius and Vivienne arrived for a surprise visit. Nicole and Maya were not happy with the news that their parent were moving to town, and Julius wasn't happy with the news that Nicole would be Maya's surrogate. When Ivy struggled through a lingerie photo shoot, Liam put a stop to it and convinced Steffy and Ivy to make peace with each other.

Family and friends mourned Will at his funeral, and they bid him a sad farewell. Sonny said a tearful goodbye to Salem. Adrienne was there for Lucas. Andre made his presence known in town. The DiMeras gave Aiden no choice but to plan Hope's death so he could claim the life insurance and pay off his debt. Ben admitted to Clyde that he was the Necktie Killer. Rafe thought something was off with Ben. Abigail urged Chad to wake up, and she still believed in him. Steve was in harm's way in Mexico. Bo longed to be with Hope as he tried to find his way home. Rafe told Gabi that Eduardo was their father. Ben was ecstatic to learn that he had earned the reward money for Chad's capture. Jennifer and Abigail were outraged at J.J.'s decision to join the police force. Steve and Bo were together again but not in the best of situations. Shawn-Douglas returned to town to surprise Hope. Nicole and Daniel moved forward with their wedding plans.

Olivia was heartbroken when Ned ended their relationship because he refused to keep lying about Leo. Julian surprised Alexis with a new home reminiscent of her beloved lake house. Alexis confirmed through a DNA test that Olivia's "adopted" son was Leo. Julian demanded that Olivia hand over his son, but Alexis urged Julian to compromise with Olivia. Olivia explained her concerns about Leo's safety, but Julian promised he had left the mob. Spinelli was arrested after he was caught hacking into the hospital's files to retrieve Jake's medical records. Lulu shut down filming on the Haunted Star per the contract Dillon had signed. Dillon feared that it was the end of his film, but Nathan turned to Nina for help to finance the project and save Maxie's budding acting career. Kiki continued to lash out at those around her and drink heavily. Morgan met Molly's beautiful college friend. Sonny struggled to accept that he had a long recovery ahead of him, but he vowed to walk again. Sonny temporarily put Max in charge of the organization because Sonny refused to let either Michael or Morgan get involved in mob business. Michael was overjoyed when Sabrina told him that she was pregnant, and he shared the news with his parents. Little Jake insisted that Jake was his father. Anna discovered a discrepancy in Carlos' autopsy report, which indicated the body recovered from the harbor hadn't been Carlos. Patrick surprised Sam with an engagement ring.

The police believed that Cane had extorted money from Devon to cover up a bad business deal at Fenmore's. The evidence mounted against Cane, and he prepared to move out when he thought Lily didn't believe in his innocence. Victor refused Noah's request to help Marisa find her daughter, but Noah convinced Kevin to lend a hand. Patty tried to convince Sharon that there was something wrong with Dr. Anderson's drug regimen, but Sharon pushed her away and accidentally knocked her unconscious. Victor offered to help Adam run before his trial, but Chelsea suspected that Victor was trying to make things worse for Adam. Adam and Chelsea spent the night together before his trial. Adam waived his Fifth Amendment rights and testified on his own behalf. Chelsea panicked when she briefly lost Connor in the park, but Billy found the boy. Billy was impacted by Chelsea's assertion that she had been to blame, since she'd been responsible for keeping an eye on her son. During his testimony, Billy forgave Adam and encouraged others to do the same. Victoria convinced Billy to forgive himself. Adam was found guilty of felony hit-and-run and sentenced to ten years in prison. Someone mowed Adam down with a car as he was being led out of the courthouse.
