Ridge was determined to fire Coco as an intern, even after she saved R.J. from being hit by a forklift. Brooke and R.J. talked Ridge into giving Coco a chance. Sally and Saul relieved Coco of her spying quandary by secretly installing spy cameras in her jewelry. Charlie was sure Quinn had wiped her lipstick off of Ridge's lips, and Charlie had the napkin to prove it. While Pam tried to make Charlie give up on lipstick-gate, Katie upset Brooke by describing a weird and intimate exchange Katie had witnessed between Ridge and Quinn.

Jade told Joey that she loved him. Hal attacked Kayla and blamed her for his failed surgery. Jade talked Hal down to save Kayla. Steve learned that he'd had a son with Ava. Jason and Sam named their daughter Emily Scout to honor Jason's sister. Olivia Jerome kidnapped Griffin to use his body as a vessel to resurrect Duke. Anna tracked Olivia down to the secret underground lab. Griffin managed to break free and helped Anna turn the tables on Olivia. Olivia escaped when Griffin was forced to help an injured Anna instead of taking Olivia to the police. Anna was horrified when she discovered that Olivia had left Robin standing on a pressurized bomb in an elevator. Jason saved Robin by taking her place in the elevator. Jordan evacuated the hospital as the bomb's timer ticked down. Several key personnel noticed Finn's erratic behavior. Finn and Hayden found themselves trapped in the hospital after it was evacuated. Olivia used Ava to lure their brother to Ava's apartment. Alexis was abducted. Nelle revealed that she was Frank Benson's daughter and accused Carly of coldly turning her back on him when he'd needed help. Carly argued that Frank had only been interested in Carly's money. Michael made it clear that he would never forgive Nelle. Despite the rift between Nina and Valentin, Nina sang his praises at the custody hearing. The judge decided to have a psychologist talk to Charlotte before rendering a verdict.

Sharon declared her independence by enrolling in college classes and deciding to live a full life on her own. Abby and Phyllis separately advised Ravi against pursuing Ashley romantically. Ravi confronted Ashley about why they couldn't be more than friends. Cane nearly blew a critical deal to distribute Brash & Sassy in Asia, but Juliet saved the day. Nick warned Victor not to interfere in his relationship with Chelsea. Victor pressured a torn Chelsea never to tell Nick the truth about Christian's paternity.
