All My Children alums Walt Willey (ex-Jackson Montgomery), Julia Barr (ex-Brooke English), and Bobbie Eakes (ex-Krystal Carey) will be taking part in a special radio tribute honoring John Callahan (ex-Edmund Grey), who passed away in late March. Find out how to access the program no matter where in the world you live.

Soap opera fans will want to listen to Palm Springs radio station iHub Radio this Saturday, April 4, at 10AM PT for a special honoring All My Children alum John Callahan, who passed away on Saturday, March 28, after suffering a massive stroke.

The station owner and host, John McMullen, will be joined by AMC stars Walt Willey (ex-Jackson Montgomery), Julia Barr (ex-Brooke English), and Bobbie Eakes (ex-Krystal Carey), as well as other guests, to honor the late actor's passing. As some soap fans may know, Callahan hosted a weekly podcast for iHub Radio before his death.

"We are devastated and share the grief felt by his family, especially daughter Kaya," says McMullen in a statement. "I just spoke with John on Wednesday and can hardly believe his bigger-than-life personality is no longer with us."

Fans don't have to live in the Palm Springs area to listen to Callahan's tribute. The radio station is available globally via Tune In.

Callahan was a long-time resident of the Coachella Valley and joined iHub Radio at its launch in May 2018. He was also active in local theatre with the CV Rep and continued to do film and television productions.

Callahan got his start in soap operas with the role of master masseur Leo Russell on General Hospital in 1984. His subsequent roles included a two-year stint as playboy Eric Stavros on the primetime soap Falcon Crest, a brief run as Days of our Lives' Tyler Malone in 1989, and the slightly longer role of Santa Barbara's Craig Hunt, which he played until 1991.

Callahan's best-known soap role came in 1992, when he took on the All My Children character Edmund Grey, which he played until 2005. Callahan met his ex-wife, Eva LaRue (ex-Maria Santos), during his time on the ABC soap opera, where the pair's Pine Valley characters were declared a daytime supercouple.
