American actress Adria Arjona is widely known for portraying Five in the 2019 action thriller “6 Underground,” and Bix Caleen in the Star Wars prequel series “Andor (2022).” She was born on April 25, 1993, in San Juan and spent much of her childhood in Mexico City before eventually settling in Miami at the age of twelve. Her mother is Leslie Torres and her father, Ricardo Arjona, is a renowned Guatemalan singer and songwriter. Ricardo introduced Arjona to a life of artistry quite early in her childhood as she often accompanied him on his international tours.


Arjona relocated to New York City at the age of 18 in order to pursue acting professionally. She trained at the prestigious Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute while also working as a waitress to support herself. Her breakout role was as Dorothy Gale in NBC’s 2017 modern adaptation of The Wizard of Oz, Emerald City. She also appeared as Jules Hayes in “Pacific Rim: Uprising (2018),” Martine Bancroft in “Morbius (2022),” and Sofia Herrera “Father of the Bride (2022).”


She will portray Greta in the upcoming American crime drama series “Criminal (2025)” and is also all set to reprise her role as Bix Caleen in Season 2 of Disney+’s “Andor (2025).”

Arjona’s debut in film was as Patricia in Alber Ponte’s 2015 comedy Wedding in New York. Throughout the years, she also featured in other comedy films such as “Life of the Party (2018)” and “Father of the Bride (2022).” Arjona has also worked in multiple thriller productions such as the 2016 horror movie “The Belko Experiment,” the 2019 action film “Triple Frontier,” and the 2024 mystery “Blink Twice.” Arjona will star as Ashley in Michael Angelo Covino’s upcoming comedy film “Splitsville.” Also starring Dakota Johnson, the film is scheduled for a 2025 Cannes Film Festival premiere.

Arjona’s first role on television was as Suzy Houchen in the 2014 American crime drama series “Unforgettable.”​ Since then, she has continued to pursue versatile character roles in several acclaimed television productions. In 2015, she played Emily in the mystery series “True Detective,” in 2019 she portrayed Anathema Device in the fantasy comedy “Good Omens,” and in 2022 she depicted Laurie in the comedy series “Irma Vep.” She has also guest-starred in shows such as “Narcos (2015)” and “Monsterland (2020).”
