The cast of Mission: Impossible


Mission: Impossible features an ensemble cast led by Tom Cruise as Ethan Hunt, a highly skilled agent of the Impossible Mission Force (IMF). Jon Voight portrays Jim Phelps, the experienced IMF team leader, reprising the character from the original television series but with significant narrative changes. Emmanuelle Béart plays Claire Phelps, Jim’s wife and an IMF agent who orchestrates Jim’s plan alongside him to frame Ethan.


The movie also includes Jean Reno playing the role of Franz Krieger, a former intelligence operative and skilled pilot, along with Ving Rhames as Luther Stickell, an expert hacker and a trusted ally of Ethan Hunt throughout the series. Kristin Scott Thomas appears as Sarah Davies, another IMF agent, while Emilio Estevez plays Jack Harmon, the team’s technical specialist.


Vanessa Redgrave is known to play the role of Max, a mysterious and influential arms dealer. Henry Czerny plays the role of Eugene Kittridge, a determined CIA official investigating the film’s hidden conspiracy.
