Welcome to the Best of the Week for General Hospital where we highlight some of the week’s stand out moments, scenes, notables, quotables, fashion, and more!
GENERAL HOSPITAL’S BEST OF THE WEEK

MOMENTS

I loved all of the added moments of humor this week:
Liesl sharing her jubilant impression of Drew getting dumped at the altar while downing a triple Schnapps
Cody reading an excerpt with voices from Molly’s romance novel, Rawhide in Satin
Cody making Tracy check for the mole on his back after Molly scared him
Yuri grabbing Martin by the tie as he offered to remove him and Drew from the mansion
A flustered Anna wanting to have a dog walking schedule written “in pen”
Suzanne and Sonny’s charming banter and Suzanne interrupting with homemade carrot cake and espresso while Alexis was trying to admonish Sonny over kidnapping Marco
SCENES

Drew and Martin scale the wall to get into the Q mansion
I need them to keep finding reasons to put Tracy, Cody, and Martin in scenes, because they’re always pure gold! Tracy and Cody tag teaming and taunting Drew about getting left by Willow was most entertaining and bringing in Yuri as the muscle was a welcome bonus. Martin craftily using his time alone with Yuri as an opportunity to find out more about Monica was an added bit of the unexpected.
The comedic exchange between Jane Elliot and Josh Kelly seemed effortless, Cameron Mathison and Cyrus Hobbi played the perfect straight-men, and Michael E. Knight was the perfect balance between them. I highly suggest rewatching scenes with Michael E. Knight in them. In lesser hands, Martin could be an inconsequential character, but Knight’s deft emotional switches from humor to anger, devious to defeated, intelligent to bumbling, and thoughtful to cynical bring a deceptive amount of depth and purpose to his character.
Willow…at the wedding, at Carly’s house, at Elizabeth’s house, at the Quartermaine’s
Strong Willow putting Drew on blast at the altar was a pay-off moment we weren’t sure was going to happen until we saw her drop his hands. Still reeling from the revelations of Drew and Nina’s sexcapades, she was unhinged Willow by the time she made it to Carly’s and practically catatonic Willow by the time Elizabeth and Ric found her. Almost rational Willow showed up to talk to Michael at the Quartermaine’s but faded quickly into irrational, desperate Willow before she left. Willow’s constant emotional shifts have made it almost impossible to predict how she is going to act at any given moment and what is truly at the core of her transformation over the past year.
I hope Katelyn MacMullen took a spa day for herself after all of these emotional scenes. GIRL. WAS. GIVING in every scene she was in. Kudos to MacMullen for continuing to bring control and intention to each of Willow’s erratic shifts.
Curtis and Trina’s conversation about Kai
This was a nice father-daughter moment where Curtis displayed more self-awareness and introspection than usual. He supported Trina, reinforced his confidence in her, and gave her thoughtful life advice about handling relationships.
Donnell Turner and Tabyana Ali have developed a familial rapport with one another that makes their interactions feel natural, caring, and genuine.
NOTABLES

Ava and Ric’s facial expressions throughout the wedding were sheer perfection!
Loved Joss having Trina’s back with Kai.
QUOTABLES

Alexis: “I thought they hated each other.” Kristina: “Well, sometimes, that’s a kink.” Alexis: “I’m going to stop you, right there.” - Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) & Kristina (Kate Mansi) talking about Drew and Nina sleeping together
“What could possibly be worse than the people you tried to kill knowing that you tried to kill them?” - Michael talking Kristina (Kate Mansi) about the situation with Ric and Ava
Willow: “I believed you when you said I was the only woman you wanted.” Drew: “You were.” Willow: “Along with my mother” - Not the original wedding vows Willow wrote!
“Rawhide in Satin – another Russian Classic” - Cody after finding Molly’s (Kristen Vaganos) romance novel hidden behind War and Peace
“Well that was worth the price of admission.” - Martin to Lucy after Willow’s take down of Drew at the altar
“What, you misplaced your bride already? How very careless of you.” - Tracy to Drew when he was looking for Willow
"Yeah, I don’t need to hear the latest take on the epic romance you think you got going on, man. You’re not noble, and it’s not tragic.” - Michael to Drew
“You tried? Thanks for trying. You failed though.” - Willow to Nina (Cynthia Watros) about not telling her the truth
“You didn’t beat him up, so that’s progress.” - Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst to Jason (Steve Burton) about Drew
Britt: “The crash I think you’re referring to happened, what, two years ago? And the donkey survived.” Pascal: “But, he limped for the rest of his life.” Britt: “Well, he shouldn’t have been camped out in the middle of the road.”
“I’m now perfectly capable of driving myself into town without maiming any of the local fauna, even if they are milling around the middle of the road.” - Britt to Pascal
FASHION

Nina’s Mixed Wildflowers Asymmetrical Dress by BCBGMAXAZRIA - This took a minute to grow on me, but I like the different flower patterns, asymmetrical cut, and balloon sleeves.
Stella’s Tropical Floral Jacquard Belted Cardigan by Misook - Love the colors and Stella (Vernee Watson) always looks sophisticated
Britt’s Melissa Satin Maxie Dress in Turquoise by Fashion Nova - I have mixed feelings about this dress but, at least, it was something different.
MUSINGS

Drew should just rent a billboard that says all he wants to do is help Willow get her kids back so I don't have to hear him say it anymore.
PSA to all brides-to-be: always opt for the waterproof mascara.
I agree with Curtis when he said Drew used Willow to justify his actions. She’s basically been Drew’s human shield for the past year.
I want to hear more about what Yuri and Monica have in common.
I know this is nitpicking, but why did they show it almost being nighttime at 5:00 pm in Port Charles when they shouldn’t even be close to sunset yet? And, on top of that, they showed Britt wanting to go to dinner at the same time…Croatia would be, at least, a good six hours ahead.
Felicia should go ahead and get her counselor’s license.
Ummm, why did Jason bother to email the Five Poppies Resort instead of just using their website or calling the reservation desk, or, heck, even using Expedia to book a room?
If the Five Poppies is anything like the White Lotus, it’s not going to end well for someone.
