Two very major soap opera stars will soon be colliding in a very interesting way. General Hospital star Kimberly McCullough (Robin Scorpio) has taken to social media with some exciting details about her new directing gig, and daytime fans are no doubt going to be thrilled.
The actress, who just gave birth to her first child this June, revealed that the secret directing project she's been working on is the upcoming You Tube Red series Youth & Consequences, which features Desperate Housewives and One Life to Live alum Marcia Cross (ex-Kate Sanders).
"So... this is what I've been working on," McCullough posted to Instagram. "Directed the last two episodes of this awesome new YouTube Red series. Can't wait for you to see it!"
Youth & Consequences, which will be available on YouTube's new subscription service in 2018, stars Anna Akana as teenager Farrah Cutney, who goes to great lengths and sometimes desperate measures to stay at the top of the popular crowd at Central Rochester High School. Cary Elwes guest stars as Farrah's father, and Cross plays the recurring character of the school principal.
As fans may recall, McCullough just recently directed an episode of Netflix's revival of One Day at a Time.
