NBC has temporarily canceled its Fan Fest celebration. The event, which was to be held November 2nd and 3rd at Universal Studios in Florida, may or may not be rescheduled.

"NBC is very disappointed to have been put in a position of being forced to find another location for the event," said NBC's Senior Vice President of Daytime Programming Sheraton Kalouria.

According to Kalouria, Universal Studios made requests that were "impossible" for NBC to fulfill. The resulting situation presented Universal Studios with an "unfeasible economic."

This marks the second time that the Fan Fest weekend has been canceled. Last year's events were called off due to the September 11th terrorist attacks.

NBC is, however, said to be scouting out new locations for the event. It is possible that the network will hold the events in Los Angeles - which is home to both of NBC's soaps.
