An upcoming blockbuster film titled Black and Blue features Guiding Light alum Frank Grillo (ex-Hart Jessup) and One Life to Live alum Nafessa Williams (ex-Deanna Forbes).

Daytime fans will want to take note of the upcoming crime thriller titled Black and Blue, as it stars soap opera alums Frank Grillo (ex-Hart Jessup, Guiding Light) and Nafessa Williams (ex-Deanna Forbes, One Life to Live; ex-Margo Ivey, The Bold and the Beautiful).

The blockbuster film follows Noamie Harris in the role of NOPD rookie Alicia West, who captures the murder of a drug dealer on her body cam. What's more disturbing, however, is that the murder has been committed by her partner and a squad of dirty police officers (played by Grillo, Reid Scott, and Beau Knapp).

Unable to get help from her former community or the New Orleans police department she's sworn to, West allies herself with a stranger named Milo (Tyrese Gibson) in an attempt to expose the murder while a local gang puts out a bounty on West's life.

In addition to Grillo and Williams, Black and Blue will also include an appearance by Michael Papajohn, who appeared as a character named Morgan on Port Charles back in 2001.

Grillo played GL's Hart from 1997 to 1999 before going on to TV series like Wasteland, Battery Park, For the People, The Shield, Prison Break, The Killing Point, The Gates, and Kingdom. Some of his film credits include The Grey, Captain America: Civil War, and Avengers: End Game.

Williams took on the role of OLTL's Deanna in 2001 and B&B's Margo in 2012. Her additional credits include Code Black, Twin Peaks: The Return, and Black Lightning.

Black and Blue is set to hit theaters on Friday, October 25. Check out a teaser trailer below and let us know your thoughts in the Comments section at the end of the article.
