A lot of people have been relying on social media for entertainment during the coronavirus pandemic, and it's been hard to miss the viral Instagram challenges that have cropped up while many people are following stay-at-home and social distancing measures. One such challenge was the "Don't Rush Challenge," in which stars from The Bold and the Beautiful and The Young and the Restless participated with cute makeup transformation videos (which you can see here and here, respectively). The latest such challenge is the "See 10, Do 10" challenge, and you better believe that stars from both CBS soap operas took part!
The challenge goes like this: If you are tagged in a video of your friend doing ten push-ups, you should drop everything and do ten push-ups, post the video to Instagram Stories, and tag your own round of friends to do ten push-ups, as well.
CBS tapped into the "See 10, Do 10" challenge trend with their own spin. Last Tuesday, the network hosted its annual up=front presentation and revealed the new fall schedule. It's typically done in Carnegie Hall with a huge audience, but this year the up-front was done virtually. Because the network couldn't gather its stars to celebrate the new fall schedule in person, CBS talent participated in a push-up challenge throughout the day, which they dubbed the "Simply Stronger" challenge.
Many CBS stars have participated -- both from soap operas and from the network's other daytime shows and primetime shows. Check out videos of the stars participating in the "Simply Stronger" challenge, simply click on an actor's name.
The Y&R stars who have taken part in the challenge thus far include: Jordi Vilasuso (Rey Rosales); Hunter King (Summer Newman); Sean Dominic (Nate Hastings); Michael Mealor (Kyle Abbott); Melissa Ordway (Abby Newman); Lauralee Bell (Christine Blair); Eileen Davidson (Ashley Abbott); and Bryton James (Devon Hamilton).
The other CBS stars who have participated in the network's "Simply Stronger" challenge include: Julian McMahon (FBI: Most Wanted); Arielle Vandenberg (Love Island); Jaime Presley (Mom); Phil Keoghan (The Amazing Race); Iain Armitage (Young Sheldon); Zeeko Zaki FBI: Most Wanted); Annaleigh Ashford (B Positive); Sara Rue (B Positive); Kether Donohue (B Positive); Rebecca Breeds (Clarice); Lucca De Oliveira (Clarice); Devyn Tyler (Clarice); Toni Trucks (SEAL Team); Ruby Jay (The Unicorn); Maya Lynne Robinson (The Unicorn); Montana Jordan (Young Sheldon); Reagan Revord (Young Sheldon); Matthew Hoffman (Love Island); Alexandra Stewart (Love Island); Kyra Green (Love Island); Travis Wolfe Jr. (Bob Hearts Abishola); Hank Greenspan (The Neighborhood); Rachel Reynolds (The Price is Right); and Devin Goda (The Price is Right).
