The Emmy-nominated digital soap Tainted Dreams has been picked up by Reel Women's Network, the streaming service brought to fans by Crystal Chappell (ex-Carly Manning, Days of our Lives; ex-Olivia Spencer, Guiding Light).

A soapy love affair is taking place between the digital soap Tainted Dreams and Reel Women's Network. The Emmy-nominated series is now available on the female-focused streaming service brought to fans by soap vet Crystal Chappell (ex-Carly Manning, Days of our Lives; ex-Olivia Spencer, Guiding Light).

Tainted Dreams was created by Sonia Blangiardo, who is part of the Emmy-winning director team at Days of Our Lives, and is loosely based on what Blangiardo has experienced in her vast career in daytime. The premise is a "show within a show" that follows the cast and crew behind the scenes of a fictitious TV soap opera called Painted Dreams.

The soapy series originally debuted on Amazon Prime in 2016, was recently released on Popstar! TV, and now calls Reel Women's Network its home.

"I am thrilled that Tainted Dreams is a part of this new platform that focuses on female creatives," Blangiardo says in an official statement. "Everyone in the industry is always talking about how women need to be more inclusive and the opportunities for women just aren't the same as they are for men. Reel Women's Network is taking an amazing step in the right direction to change that reality. I hope this new audience will love Tainted's characters and stories."
