) will return to One Life to Live in February for a special occasion. More importantly for fans, the two actresses will be seen over the course of several episodes -- so it won't be a one-and-done event.
It's been roughly ten years since Bonarrigo -- then known as Laura Koffman -- ended her full-time run on One Life to Live. Bonarrigo had been a part of the cast from 1991 through 1999, when the character relocated to Savannah, Georgia. Over the years, however, Cassie has returned to Llanview every so often. Her most recent appearance came in 2004.
Since leaving One Life to Live, Bonarrigo has kept a relatively low profile. Her character eventually died from an incurable disease.
Fumero, meanwhile, has only been away from Llanview for a brief period of time. The actress joined One Life to Live in 2004 and remained with the show through June 2008. She returned a few months later for a handful of episodes, but was last seen on-screen in October 2008. There's no word yet on exactly why Cassie and Adriana are returning to Llanview, but it would be a safe bet to say that it has something to do with the return of Kelly Cramer. As previously reported
, two-time Emmy winner Gina Tognoni
will reprise her role as Kelly sometime in 2010. It will mark the first time she's appeared on One Life to Live in more than seven years.
