Thomas set up a romantic dinner for Dayzee at Ridge and Brooke's house. Dayzee told Thomas that he was moving too fast, but she kissed him. Liam recovered slowly at the hospital and continued to experience headaches. At Forrester, Steffy and Brooke battled over Steffy's continued resentment of all things Logan. Steffy told Stephanie that Dayzee's seemed to be a substitute for her family, but Stephanie advised that she was very happy helping the homeless. Amber went to see Stephanie at Dayzee's because she was homeless since the trailer exploded. Stephanie advised Amber to quit wasting her talent. Stephanie reminded Amber that she had a history of trapping wealthy young men. Bill set Amber up in the Malibu house he had purchased because she had no place to live after the trailer explosion. Amber asked what Liam, Katie, and Hope thought about Amber living in the house he had purchased, but Bill said that he had not told anyone she was there. Amber stood on the lookout at the house, and Amber chattered incessantly while Bill hung back and told her to admire the view. Bill had a frustrated look on his face, and he approached Amber, whose back was to him, as she leaned out over the side of the lookout to see Catalina Island.

What happened during the week of
Stefano and Fake Rafe's attempt to kidnap Allie backfired after E.J. tipped off Kate to have Lucas request Allie visit him in Hong Kong. Kate manipulated Chloe and encouraged her to stop taking her medication as a way to win custody of Parker. Chloe attempted suicide, but Philip arrived in time to save her. Bo and Hope moved closer to reconciling. Roman told Bo that he could resume his position as police commissioner, but that Hope was no longer on the force. Hope was thrilled to spend time at home with Ciara and Bo. Vivian seemed elated after she learned that Brady had taken over Titan from Victor. Nicole and E.J. finally said, "I do," but Nicole was very suspicious of E.J. and Taylor's attraction to each other. Rafe found a way to contact Roman, but Fake Rafe foiled the plan and convinced Roman to ignore Rafe's call to him. Fake Rafe told Stefano to kill off Rafe. Lexie was thrilled to have all her family together, but Abe warned Chad to be wary of joining the DiMera family. Philip sided with Chloe and blasted Melanie and Kate for trying to take Parker away from his mother. Melanie was upset that Kate had indirectly almost caused Chloe's death. Jennifer and Daniel opened up to each other about their troubled lives.

What happened during the week of
Carly unwittingly foiled Shawn's plans to kidnap Brenda. Brenda refused to leave town when Carly threatened to reveal that Brenda and Dante had a child together. Brenda stopped the wedding to tell Sonny about Carly's plans. Sonny felt betrayed by Brenda and Dante's affair until Dante clarified that they had never slept together. Dante revealed that he had merely claimed to be the father of Brenda's baby to keep the baby safe from the father's family. Sonny quickly forgave Brenda for not telling him about the baby and then asked her to marry him. Moments later, Sonny and Brenda were married. Lulu was hurt that Dante had kept another secret from her. Shawn agreed to switch sides to help Jason capture the Balkan. Jason and Shawn arranged for a meeting with Theo at the Pine Barrens, but the Balkan's men ambushed them shortly after their arrival. Theo began to question Suzanne's loyalty when he realized that she hadn't told him about their grandchild. Suzanne claimed that she hadn't wanted to add to Theo's grief after losing Aleksander. Jax accepted that his marriage to Carly was over for good. Carly found an injured Shawn lying in the middle of the road, so she took him back to her house to treat his gunshot wound. Kristina confided to Ethan that she planned to marry him one day. Theo kidnapped Sam. Brenda entered the limousine as she and Sonny prepared to leave for their honeymoon. Sonny exchanged a few words with Luke and then turned to join his bride in the limousine. Sonny was horrified as the limousine suddenly exploded. Later, paramedics pulled out a body. Sonny and Jason were shocked to realize that the woman in the limousine was Sam.

Joey was not pleased to learn that Kelly had slept with John. Kelly blamed the alcohol for her lapse of judgment. Joey was taken aback when Kelly added that she had been upset because Joey had married Aubrey. However, Kelly refused to stick around to help Joey pick up the pieces when his marriage to Aubrey crumbled. Natalie's hopes were dashed when John revealed that he had stopped by Llanfair to check on Liam, not to see Natalie. Natalie was hurt when she later saw John comforting Kelly. Blair bumped into Tomas at the diner, where she learned that he had originally hailed from Puerto Rico. Blair began to rattle of names of people in town that she knew were of Puerto Rican decent. Tomas tensed when he heard Téa's name mentioned. A short time later, Tomas paid his sister, Téa, a visit. Téa admitted that she had missed Tomas, even though he had abandoned her. James confessed to Starr that he knew where Dani and Nate were. James had taken the teens to the Viki's cabin to hide out. Dani made it clear that she planned to stay away from Todd long enough for Todd to suffer and to accept Dani's relationship with Nate. James and Starr decided to chaperone their siblings. Starr was surprised to learn that James and Michelle weren't an item. James was equally caught off-guard when Starr admitted that she had ended things with Cole. Todd was furious when he learned that Dani had called Téa to assure her mother that everything was okay. Jack was revealed to be Shane's tormentor. Tess blackmailed Ford into going along with her plans. Langston followed Brody to Las Vegas. Brody and Langston tracked Tess and Ford to a chapel, but worried they were too late to stop the wedding.

Chloe and Heather blamed Chance for turning their lives upside down when he entered Witness Protection. Victor was furious with Nick for joining Abby and Victoria in their lawsuit. Neil sympathized with Sofia about Malcolm. Lily thought Cane was trying to communicate with her. Daniel confessed to Lily that he was Lucy's father. Nikki pleaded in vain with Victor and the kids to stop the lawsuit. Neil and Sofia made love. Adam demanded that Victor step up for Sharon. Michael warned Diane to be honest with Victor when she said she had feelings for another man. Jana was hired as Lucy and Delia's nanny. Sharon suspected that Adam had made a deal with Victor. Tucker rehired Sofia. Victor told Abby that his relationship with Diane was none of her business. Michael told Victor that his deal with Adam would constitute obstruction of justice. Neil learned that Malcolm and Sofia had reconciled. To get Victor to clear Sharon of Skye's murder, Adam testified that he had forged Abby, Nick, and Victoria's trust fund documents.
