Erica languished in her prison, while her loved ones tried to make sense of her continued absence. Erica was furious when her captor resorted to drugging her because it had compromised Erica's sobriety. Erica's captor was revealed to be a woman. Erica sent her captor to the penthouse to fetch a book that, unbeknownst to her captor, had a secret compartment with a phone in it. JR persuaded Marissa to move into the mansion, so she wouldn't have to lie to Agent Trumbull about Tad and Cara's marriage. Marissa made it clear that she would only stay with JR until she found a place of her own. Scott vowed to rebuild Stuart's gatehouse after it was destroyed when heavy winds toppled a tree. Scott and Madison made love. Ryan was stunned to learn that Greenlee had known about Madison's pregnancy since Christmas. Greenlee confessed to Ryan that she had also bribed Scott to keep Madison away from Ryan. Greenlee was crushed when Ryan decided to put their wedding plans on hold. Angie figured out Amanda's plan to have a baby. Angie warned Amanda that the plan would backfire, but Amanda was certain that Jake would be happy once the baby was a reality. Jesse visited Ellie's grave. Kendall and Griffin worked together to try to get proof of Ricky's crimes. Griffin became concerned when he lost touch with Kendall, who had been wearing a wire. Kendall found herself having to deal with Ricky's amorous advances.

What happened during the week of

After their joint hallucination of embracing and frolicking in a waterfall and lying naked among flower petals, Thomas and Brooke awakened in the dank cave, wearing their tattered plane-crash apparel. They were sick to their stomachs due to eating the berries, and they wondered aloud what they had done. Ridge rescued them, and Taylor acknowledged that they'd had a life-changing experience. Brooke and Thomas shared with each other that they had no memory of what they had done. Brooke said she thought they had kissed, and she refused to keep another secret from Ridge. Thomas reminded her that they had been hallucinating because of the berries. He had no idea what was real or fantasy. Steffy and Bill kissed passionately on many occasions, and Steffy told Bill that she loved him. Bill responded that he loved Steffy and that he had only said that to one other woman, Katie. Steffy insisted that she would soon make love to Bill and never give up on a relationship with him. In Los Angeles, all the Logans, Forresters, and Marones celebrated that Brooke and Thomas had been found. Katie promised Donna that she would never let her husband go because she loved him. Thomas called Dayzee and said that he couldn't wait to see her.

Victor and Maggie parted ways after Victor refused to accept Maggie's decision to allow Chloe to live with her. Chloe freaked out when she learned that Daniel and Jennifer were going out on a date. Abigail gave Chloe a piece of her mind. Stefano apologized to Chad for not being there for him and promised that going forward, Chad could always depend on his father. Adrienne warned Chad about life as a DiMera. E.J. told Taylor that he planned to ask Nicole for a divorce. Stefano ordered E.J. to postpone his divorce to Nicole because it could jeopardize the master plan to get full custody of Johnny and Sydney. E.J. seemed baffled when Nicole went ballistic after he asked her for a divorce. Nicole presented E.J. with DNA proof that Rafe had been a prisoner in the DiMera basement. Nicole decided to use this information to blackmail E.J. and force him to stay married to her. Taylor was devastated, heartbroken, and confused when E.J. told her that he had decided to stay married to Nicole. She was infuriated that he refused to offer her a good reason for his actions. Sami learned that Rafe had cheated on her and asked him to leave the apartment and stay out of her life. Sami poured her heart out to Caroline over Rafe's one-night stand and said that her marriage was over for good. Sami felt she needed closure and headed off to the safe house, where she had happy memories of when she first met Rafe. Fake Rafe was anxious to leave town, but soon realized that Sami had accidentally picked up his phony credit card, and he was frantic to find her. Stefano told Fake Rafe to find the credit card, gave him a check, and ordered him to leave town. Meanwhile, Sister Rose nursed Rafe back to health and tried to help him solve the mystery of his past. She told him that she knew he was a good man, and that he would find the answers he needed. While asleep, Rafe had flashbacks of his past, and the name of the Convent of the Holy Cross seemed familiar to him. Sister Rose agreed to take Rafe to the convent where Sister Barbara identified Rafe's key as one that belonged to the apartment building near the convent. Fake Rafe and Rafe left for the safe house simultaneously. Rafe arrived first to find Sami inside the apartment. When Sami asked Rafe, "What are you doing here," she was shocked when he said, "Who are you?"

Brenda was certain that Sonny's enemies had been responsible for Lucian's disappearance, but Sonny and Dante suspected that Suzanne had masterminded the kidnapping. Everyone, except Ethan, stood firm behind their decision to stop enabling Luke. Luke decided to file a lawsuit against Tracy to get ownership the Haunted Star. Tracy pleaded with Alexis not to represent Luke. Elizabeth returned to work, but was haunted by visions of Jake. Elizabeth decided to tell Lucky the truth about Aiden's paternity after a heart-to-heart talk with Jason about Jake. Elizabeth changed her mind when she found Lucky and Siobhan at the justice of the peace, about to be married. Lucky was stunned to realize that he had married Siobhan on Jake's birthday. Jason had a dream about taking Jake on a motorcycle ride. Sam went through with the fertility reconstruction procedure. Jason suspected that Anthony had been responsible for Brandon's murder. Anthony paid off the hit woman he had hired to kill Brandon, while posing as Abby. Lisa eavesdropped on Patrick and Robin's private moments at home via listening devices that she had carefully hidden throughout the house. Jax vowed to sue for primary custody of Josslyn. Carly reminded Jax that she had rights as Josslyn's mother, but Jax argued that Josslyn's safety was his only concern.

One Life to Live

T�a, Blair, and the children were delighted when Todd woke up from his coma. Todd accused Tomas of being the shooter. Todd was not happy to learn that Jack had been bullying Shane because Todd didn't want Jack to follow in his footsteps. Deanna announced that she intended to remain in Llanview until she had raised enough money to hire an attorney to find her birth mother. Deanna admitted that she also hoped to rekindle things with James. Ford was shocked to learn that the judge had decided that it would be best for Ryder to go to foster care. Aubrey managed to persuade the judge to grant her and Joey temporary custody of Joey's nephew. Ford threatened to have Tess committed, so Cutter helped Tess obtain an annulment and then married her. Charlie learned that Echo had always known the truth about Rex's paternity. Echo was devastated when Charlie walked out on her. Natalie discovered that Gigi had swiped a tape of Marty's therapy session, not Shane's. Natalie decided to return the tape to Rex, but later had a change of heart when John began to show a romantic interest in Marty. Destiny was shocked when Matthew confessed to shooting Eddie Ford. Destiny's unwavering support of Matthew led to a heated kiss and then a walk to the bedroom. Clint explained that he had suffered extensive damage to his heart during the prolonged heart attack. Bo was stunned to learn that a heart transplant was Clint's only hope for survival.

Jana held Kevin and tortured him by locking him in a closet. Abby confronted Daniel about his relationship with Lily. Phyllis agreed to let Lucy remain with Billy and Victoria in exchange for visitation rights. When Chloe filed for sole custody of Delia, Child Protective Services took Lucy from Billy and Victoria because of her questionable adoption. Daniel submitted another DNA tests to prove his paternity. Abby sold her Newman stock to Jack instead of Tucker. Olivia helped Sofia alter her baby's conception date so Neil and Malcolm wouldn't know if Neil was the father. Kay created a campaign to find Kevin. Jana reverted to the old Jana to make Kevin love her again. When Kevin balked, Jana decided to kill Chloe. Jack let Victor think that Abby had betrayed him with the stock sale. Diane tried to comfort Victor, but he refused to open up to her. Nikki showed Victor that he had it all. Diane gave Jack a chance to stick it to Victor by making love to her. Abby refused to attend her mother's wedding. Cane asked Lily to bring the twins to the cemetery. Jana lured Chloe to the hideout and in their ensuing fight, Jana collapsed and appeared dead.
