Maggie asked Victor to make peace with the DiMera family. Sami learned that she was not pregnant, but instead needed surgery and might have a form of cancer. Rafe told Abe that Mandy, another prostitute attacked at the pier, was in the hospital with serious injuries. Abe gave the Salem Police Department full resources to launch an investigation. Bo, though reluctant at first, agreed to Hope's plan to go undercover as a prostitute. Quinn threatened to expose his and Taylor's past together unless she agreed to be his informant at her new job at the police station. Taylor panicked when she overheard Hope tell Bo that Mandy was ready to talk about what had happened the night of the attack. Nicole discovered a secret about Taylor's past. Sonny told his parents that he planned to make Salem his home and enroll in the university. Sonny approached Chad and Will about joining him in a new business venture. Tad vowed revenge against Sonny. Chloe saved Kinsey from a dangerous situation. Chloe blasted Kate after she learned that Kate had paid Quinn to set her up as a prostitute so that she would lose custody of Parker. Jennifer and Daniel's love for each grew stronger. Abigail confided to Chad that she missed her father and wished that her family could be together again. Brady told Nicole that he needed more time to think about their relationship. Nicholas' support gave Carly the strength to beat her addiction and look forward to the future. E.J. regained his power base and business savvy, much to Kate's dismay and delight. Rafe and Roman waited for the results of Sami's surgery.
Tragedy struck when Anthony murdered Siobhan. Matt discovered a clue that Siobhan had left behind for Lucky. Lucky was determined to discover the meaning of Siobhan's cryptic message. Steve revealed that medications were missing from the hospital, so he decided to launch an investigation. Matt assured Elizabeth that she wouldn't be held responsible for the missing medication that she had used to counter Lucky's drug overdose. Carly was stunned when Michael supported Sonny's decision to go after Jax. Mac was on hand to comfort Alexis after she learned about Jax's plane crash. Skye found Jax on the waterfront. Jax was determined to keep anyone else from discovering that he was alive. Skye managed to get her hands on some money, so that Jax could go into hiding. Robin discovered that Jason's seizures were being caused by a particle of the dashboard that had been embedded in his brain years earlier during his car accident with AJ. Jason decided to have the surgery to remove the particle from his brain. Sam thought about what life would have been like if she and Jason had stayed in Hawaii. Carly and Elizabeth fantasized about what life would have been like if their relationships with Jason had worked out. Monica daydreamed about how different things would have been if Jason's hadn't been in AJ's car on that fateful night, and Alan hadn't died.

Asa's loved ones commemorated the anniversary of his death. At the Spotted Pony Club in Kentucky, Rex was stunned to discover that Clint's ex-wife, Kim, was working as a stripper. Kim seemed surprised to hear about Gigi's passing, and Clint's health crisis. Rex had another vision of Gigi urging him not to give up. Kim visited a mystery patient at a medical facility to tell the person about her visit with Rex. Later, a picture of Stacy and Kim, during happy times, was seen on the patient's bedside table. Kim returned to Llanview with the intention of nursing Clint back to health. Rex decided to have Gigi's body exhumed after he noticed that the date of Gigi's death had been scratched out on her tombstone. Rex was devastated when he saw that Gigi's body was inside the coffin. Téa insisted that Victor was still her husband and soul mate. Todd stole a gun from Dorian's safe. Dorian and David decided to bid farewell to Llanview after Dorian accepted the governor's offer of a senate seat. Dorian's family gathered to throw her a going away party, and to remember the important moments in their lives together. Joey and Kelly moved to London, but promised to return for visits with Zane. John was on the verge of telling Natalie how he felt about her, but he had a change of heart when a Realtor called to let Natalie know that there was an apartment available for her and Brody to look at. John became suspicious when Brody revealed that Victor didn't know anything about the contents of the tape that had been found with Gigi.

What happened during the week of
Ronan secretly recorded Nick and Ashley saying that they had been in the park when Diane was killed. Heather returned to town, and Paul helped her get a job working Diane's case for the district attorney's office. At Tucker's competency hearing, the judge ruled that Tucker could resume running his company; however, the sales agreement Tucker had signed off on, giving Kay control of Jabot, was upheld. When Ronan searched the Newman ranch for evidence from Diane's murder, Victoria claimed that she was Victor's alibi. Kay and Jack celebrated her getting Jabot. Ashley warned Jack not to trust Kay. Avery won a new trial for Sharon. Deacon continued to pursue Phyllis, even after Nick warned him to back off. Lily and Daniel made love. Ronan told Adam that his Harvard ring had been damaged after Diane's murder. After Genevieve received divorce papers from Colin, she and Jack made love for the first time. Colin tried to charm Jill into forgiving him. Noah blasted Nick for keeping Faith away from Sharon. Phyllis asked her sister -- Avery -- why she was in Genoa City. Adam convinced Walsh and Heather to let him leave Wisconsin for medical treatment. Phyllis feared her past had returned to haunt her.
