What happened during the week of October 6, 2014
Quinn warned Hope to change her tune about keeping Quinn away from her son and unborn grandchild. Wyatt agreed to talk to Quinn later, and Quinn went home and appealed to Deacon to talk to his daughter. Caroline confided in Rick about Ridge's drawing dilemma and asked Rick to keep it quiet. Rick promptly told Eric, who then decided that he'd step down and choose his successor. As Eric deliberated his choice, Ridge and Caroline acknowledged something brewing between them. Caroline expressed her devotion to Rick, and Ridge kissed her.

What happened during the week of October 6, 2014
Stefano told E.J. they were through. Jennifer asked Julie for help to get through to Eve. Brady went to see Kristen to thank her for helping John. Marlena told John she was worried Kristen would lure Brady back to her. John's decision shocked everyone. Theresa was elated, but confused about why John had not told the police that she had hit and almost killed him. Jordan was upset with Ben for accepting money from Clyde. Clyde offered to pay for Ben's college tuition. Chad asked Jordan out on a date. Sami argued with Will for writing his next article about Chad. E.J. was angry at Clyde and called for a meeting in their usual place. E.J.'s meeting with Clyde turned deadly. Sami found E.J. in the woods, bleeding from a gunshot wound. Sami tried desperately to save E.J.'s life, but it was too late. Sami was out of her mind with grief about E.J.'s death. Stefano could not believe E.J. was dead.

What happened during the week of October 6, 2014
Franco learned about Sonny and Carly's affair. Silas caught Nina out of her wheelchair. Nina claimed that she had kept quiet about her recent ability to walk because she was afraid of losing Silas. Silas claimed to believe Nina, but in truth, he began to question everything she had told him since arriving in Port Charles. Ava took the pills Sabrina had given her to induce labor, believing that they would stop Ava's sudden onset of cramps. Sabrina confided to Carlos what she had done because she'd begun to question Ava's guilt in the crash that had killed Gabriel. Carlos conceded that Ava could have lied about orchestrating the accident, so he urged Sabrina to get the pills away from Ava before it was too late. Patrick, Sam, and Tracy flew to Amsterdam to rendezvous with Luke. Patrick and Sam spent the night together in a hotel room, sharing a bed as friends. However, Sam had a vivid dream of Patrick making love to her. Jason woke up but couldn't recall his name even though he had a brief flashback of Elizabeth from years earlier. Jason reluctantly agreed to have his fingerprints run through the system, hoping to learn his true identity. Nathan and Maxie's date was ruined when Judge Walters warned Maxie that he would not grant her custody of Georgie as long as she dated Nathan because Nathan had lied to the judge. Sonny decided that it was time for Franco to be eliminated. Nikolas asked Britt to move back in with him and Spencer. Milo and Epiphany went on a date. Liesl was surprised when Madeline greeted her at Nathan's apartment.div>

What happened during the week of October 6, 2014
Sharon and Nick exchanged heartfelt vows, but Phyllis interrupted the wedding and collapsed in the church before the minister pronounced the couple man and wife. Sharon hesitated to make the marriage official until she uncovered what Phyllis knew. Nick and Sharon individually visited Phyllis, who was coy about what she remembered. Sharon recalled that Phyllis had overheard her talking to Cassie in the cemetery. A devastated Kelly moved out of the Abbott mansion, while Jack remained torn about his feelings for Phyllis and Kelly. Austin was upset when Summer introduced him to Phyllis as a friend. Phyllis informed Jack that she'd heard his proposal while she had been comatose, and she accepted. Devon dodged Lily's questions about his personal life, and he planned to meet Hilary on her business trip. Avery was unnerved when Joe returned to town for a real estate deal, and he researched Dylan. Victoria experienced false labor, and Chelsea encouraged Billy to go to Victoria's side. Chelsea assured Billy that she'd let go of Adam, but she later murmured Adam's name in her sleep. Mariah started to have regrets about scheming against Sharon. Victor received Nick and Faith's DNA test results. Paul planted a personal ad in the newspaper to try to lure Ian out of hiding, and Nikki received a cryptic text message.
