Ridge set Caroline free because he'd had a secret vasectomy. Caroline took Pam's pills and drank wine, and Thomas arrived for moral support. The next day, Caroline was horrified upon waking up in bed with him. Ridge asked Caroline to reunite and start a family with him within the year. Caroline accepted and hid her discontent when Ridge hired Thomas to the design team. Steffy increased pressure on Wyatt to delete the master video file. Ivy caught Wyatt and Steffy with Ivy's laptop. Steffy commanded him to press delete, but Ivy ordered him not to do it.

Rafe took Chad in for questioning. Justin used his power as the new D.A. to blame Chad for Serena's murder. Justin pressured Rafe to arrest Chad. Stefano told Chad he would help Chad if Chad would go after Abigail. John romanced Marlena and promised her that she would be first in his life. Theresa, Kate, and Nicole set their sights on Basic Black. J.J. learned Clyde was the head of the drug ring in Salem. Clyde had Kyle murdered. Clyde kept J.J. in line by threatening him and his loved ones. Hope asked Aiden to give her more time before she gave him an answer. Steve told Kayla he was back in Salem for good. Kayla tried to get through to an angry Joey. Steve and Victor joined forces to find Bo. John's work almost ruined the mood between him and Marlena.

Lulu persuaded Maxie to try out for the lead in Dillon's movie. Dillon was pleasantly surprised when he realized during the audition that Maxie was perfect for the part. Nathan and Dante confronted Ric with incriminating evidence that pointed to him as Silas' killer. Ric agreed to wear a wire to get the real killer to confess. Madeline admitted that she had forged Silas' signature on a document after she had stabbed him in the back in a fit of fury when Silas had refused to relinquish his claim on Nina's money. Nina felt utterly betrayed by her mother's willingness to let Nina take the fall for Silas' murder, so she washed her hands of Madeline for good. Franco told Kiki about Ava and Morgan's affair. Heartbroken, Kiki ended her relationship with Morgan and cut ties with Ava. Morgan spiraled out of control as he went on a drinking and gambling binge. Morgan turned up at Sonny's place to blame his father for his problems, but Sonny managed to get Morgan to accept the possibility that Morgan had bipolar disorder. Morgan agreed to talk to Kevin Collins for an evaluation. Sonny's enemy abducted T.J. and used him as bait to lure Sonny to a warehouse on Sonny's wedding day. Someone took aim at Sonny and shot him. Anna returned to Port Charles. Sam was stunned when Anna revealed that Nikolas had tampered with the mayoral election. Sam tried to use Anna's information to blackmail Nikolas. Kyle ruined Sam's plan by covering for Nikolas. Hayden had a brief flashback of arguing about Jake with Nikolas.

Jack made Ashley CEO of Jabot. Devon was to be extradited, but a judge blocked the order. Cane offered to go to the Virgin Islands to search for Hilary. Neil held an unconscious Hilary in a boathouse. Victor discovered that Neil had been in the Virgin Islands at the time of Hilary's disappearance, and he blackmailed Neil into staying away from Nikki. Victor attempted to bribe Marisa to leave town, but she turned down his money. Noah and Marisa professed their love. Sage became increasingly concerned that Victor would interfere in her and Nick's lives. Nick rushed Sage to the hospital after she experienced abdominal pains. Sharon told Dylan that she'd gone off her medication to explain her erratic behavior, but she secretly continued to try to get pregnant again. Kevin and Mariah decided to try dating like a normal couple. Victor filed a civil suit to demand weekly visitation with Connor, forcing Chelsea to stay in Genoa City. Chelsea considered fleeing town with Connor, but Adam convinced her to remain there and play nice with Victor. The citizens of Genoa City celebrated Katherine's life with a remembrance ceremony, during which they reflected back on how their lives had improved. Jack and Victor joined forces to find out who was behind the Paragon Project. Adam worked with Ian Ward to initiate the Paragon Project.
