Saying that she's "not a lifer" in the soap opera industry, Cady McClain (Dixie Martin) has hinted that she might want out of All My Children when her contract expires later this year.

"I don't think I'm a lifer, but I think I'll be somebody who comes and goes from this point. I want to do other things. I enjoy playing other characters," the actress said in an interview.

McClain said that she hopes the writers and execs at AMC will allow her to cone and go when she leaves the show.
