NATAS has released clips from this year's Outstanding Young Performer reels, featuring talented performances from The Young and the Restless' Sasha Calle (Lola Rosales); Days of our Lives' Olivia Rose Keegan (Claire Brady) and Thia Megia (Haley Chen); and General Hospital's Katelyn MacMullen (Willow Tait) and Eden McCoy (Josslyn Jacks).

Some of the biggest names in Hollywood got their start on soap operas, and we wouldn't be surprised if some of the stunning actresses who've been named this year's Daytime Emmy nominees in the Outstanding Young Performer category end up on that list. Don't believe us? See for yourself, as The National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences just released highlights from the submission reels of this year's Young Performer contenders.

As can be seen in the video (below), the snippets are just samples of each performer's full reel -- but just because they're short clips doesn't mean they're not incredibly riveting!

Check out the video below to see Sasha Calle as The Young and the Restless' Lola Rosales, who's dismissing Kyle (Michael Mealor) after a surgery that saved her life; Olivia Rose Keegan as Days of our Lives' Claire Brady, who's torturing Ciara (Victoria Konefal); Katelyn MacMullen as General Hospital's Willow Tait, who's detailing her sickening induction into the Dawn of Day cult; Eden McCoy as GH's Josslyn Jacks, who's saying goodbye to her dying boyfriend, Oscar (Garren Stitt); and Thia Megia as DAYS' Haley Chen, who's having an emotional conversation with her boyfriend, J.J. (Casey Moss).

As Soap Central previously reported, NATAS has also released clips from the reels that each of the four network soap operas submitted in the Outstanding Drama Series category; clips from the Outstanding Supporting Actress reels; and highlights from the Outstanding Lead Actor reels.

The Daytime Emmy Awards ceremony will be returning to television via a broadcast on CBS on Friday, June 26, at 8PM ET/PT. For a list of nominations in the major daytime drama categories, click here. For a complete list of all nominations, click here.
