Disney created the Lilo & Stitch franchise, which began in 2002 with the release of the first film, written and directed by Chris Sanders and Dean DeBlois. The film revolves around two characters: Lilo, an orphaned Hawaiian girl, and Stitch, an artificial extraterrestrial creature she adopts. It was well received by children of all ages and became a critical and commercial success, resulting in the production of a television drama series. In addition, Disney created three more sequel films, a short film, video games, theme park attractions, and other products, transforming Lilo and Stitch into a franchise.

Who is Angel from Lilo and Stitch?

Experiment 624, better known as Angel, was created by Dr. Jumba Jookiba and first appeared in the Lilo and Stitch: The Series. Her primary function is to turn experiments evil through her siren song. This happens because her song contains special neuro-linguistic behavioral triggers that turn experiments evil. She was captured by Gantu during the series but later rescued and after that, she became a singing sensation across the galaxy.

How is Angel related to Lilo and Stitch?

While Angel isn’t directly related to either Lilo or Stitch, she is an experiment that was created by Dr. Jumba Jookiba like Stitch himself. After she ignores her original mission to deceive and turn Stitch evil, she falls in love with him and that leads to her turning a new page. The two also start a relationship together and Lilo, though initially skeptical, accepts Angel after Lilo notices her positive influence on Stitch.
