Cast of Lilo and Stitch 2025

Lilo and Stitch is an upcoming sci-fi comedy film directed by Dean Fleischer Camp. The film is produced by Walt Disney Pictures and Rideback. It is a live-action adaptation of the beloved 2002 animated film Lilo & Stitch and is set to premiere on May 23, 2025. The film follows the life of a lonely Hawaiian girl named Lilo who forms an unexpected bond with a dog-like alien named Stitch.

The announcement of the Lilo and Stitch live-action adaptation was made in 2018. In November 2024, Disney officially released the teaser of the film. Many original cast members are reprising their roles in the film including Chris Sanders who created and voiced Stitch. Let's take a look at the cast of the live-action adaptation of Lilo & Stitch.

Maia Kealoha as Lilo

Maia Kealoha will be playing the role of Lilo in the film. Lilo is a young Hawaiian girl who loves hula, surfing, and wildlife. She is raised by her sister Nani and struggles with loneliness. She is often rebellious in nature which gets her into trouble many times. Her classmates are not friends with her, because they find her weird. Her life takes a dramatic turn when she adopts a dangerous alien named Stitch, whom she believes to be a dog.

Maia Kealoha is a 7-year-old child actress who was born in Hawaii. Kealoha is set to make her film debut in the live-action Lilo & Stitch film in 2025. She made her major red carpet debut at the Gold Gala in May 2024. In an interview with People, she shared her reaction when she found out that she was going to be a part of Lilo & Stitch and said, “When I found out I was going to be Lilo, my jaw literally dropped and I couldn't even believe it. I rung my dad and I said, 'I did it! I'm Lilo! I'm Lilo!' And then they grabbed me and we jumped up and down. I was so excited!"

Chris Sanders as Stitch

Chris Sanders will be playing the role of Stitch in the film. Stitch is a blue koala-like alien who is also known as Experiment 626. He is portrayed as impulsive and freakishly strong, but he is unaware of his own strength, which causes problems when he lands on Earth. Lilo adopts him and with time they form a close bond.

Chris Sanders is the original voice of Stitch and the creator of the character. He is an American director, animator, and voice actor, born on March 12, 1962, in Colorado Springs. He has worked as a director in films like Lilo & Stitch (2002), How to Train Your Dragon (2010), The Croods (2013), The Wild Robot (2024), etc. He has also worked as a voice artist in films like Mulan (1998), Tarzan (1999), Lilo and Stitch film series (2002-2006), The Croods (2013), etc.

Sydney Agudong as Nani

Sydney Agudong will be playing the role of Nani in the film. Nani is Lilo’s 18-year-old older sister and legal guardian. She is portrayed as an intelligent, athletic, and overachieving person. She gets good marks in her classes. With her studies, she feels pressured as she has to take care of Lilo, maintain her grades, and earn money. This creates a problem between her and the social worker who threatens to take Lilo away from her and send her to foster care.

Sydney Agudong is an American actress, born on August 19, 2004, in Kauai, Hawaii, United States. She started her acting career with the film Second Chances in 2013. Billy Magnussen as Pleakley

Billy Magnussen will be playing the role of Pleakley in the film. Pleakley is an alien from the planet Plorgonar who has green skin, one eye, and two tongues. He is a Plorgonarian agent who works as an expert on Earth for the United Galactic Federation. He was sent to Earth to stop Jumba from harming lives there.

Zach Galifianakis as Dr. Jumba Jookiba

Zach Galifianakis will be playing the role of Dr. Jumba Jookiba in the film. Dr. Jumba Jookiba is an evil and mad scientist who is a four-eyed alien. He created Stitch to spread chaos across the galaxy. He wants to reclaim Experiment 626.
