The American comedy horror film The Monkey is based on the 1980 short story by Stephen King. Osgood Perkins is the writer and director of the movie adaptation. The story revolves around twin brothers whose lives are totally disrupted by a toy monkey that has been cursed and is causing gruesome deaths all around them.
