Lindsey Farris was killed in Mission: Impossible III at the hands of Owen Davian, the series's main antagonist.


Mission Impossible III is an American action-spy thriller that was released on May 5, 2006. It is the 3rd movie of the franchise. Ethan Hunt is now retired from his on-field duties as an IMF agent and is trying to find peace with his fiancée, nurse Julia Meade, who is unaware of his past. As the story goes on, Ethan is forced to leave the love of his life and get back to the IMF team to stop Owen Davian from carrying out his schemes.


Tom Cruise reprises the role of Ethan Hunt for the movie along with various recurring actors like Ving Rhames as Luther Stickell, Billy Crudup as John Musgrave, and Simon Pegg as Benjamin "Benji" Dunn, among others. The movie was directed by J. J. Abrams, who also wrote the story alongside writers Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci. Apart from being the lead Tom Cruise is also the producer for the movie alongside Paula Wagner.


How did Lindsey die in Mission Impossible III?


Lindsey’s death in the Mission: Impossible III movie was one of the turning points for the character of Ethan Hunt, which made him realize that working for the IMF is a lifelong gig. Lindsey was one of the smartest recruits that Ethan had hired in the IMF and it was Ethan himself who trained her to be the best. In a mission to investigate arms dealer Owen Davian, Lindsey was caught and captured by the antagonist, planting an explosive inside her head.


When Ethan and his team prepared for the rescue mission and arrived to get Lindsey out, they also found two damaged laptops as evidence. As they make their escape, Ethan learns that Lindsey is implanted with an explosive, but is too late to save her as the explosive is set off and she dies on the spot. The team then brings her body back to the IMF and after the rituals, gets buried in an undisclosed location.

Who plays the role of Lindsey Farris in Mission: Impossible III?


The character of Lindsey Farris is played by American actress Keri Lynn Russell. Born on March 23, 1976, Keri Russell started her career as a dancer which helped her land her first acting project in the series “The All New Mickey Mouse Club”. On television, Keri has been credited for series like Boy Meets World, Married... with Children, Malibu Shores, Into the West, Arrested Development, Extrapolations, and The Diplomat among many others.


Apart from appearing in a supporting role in Mission: Impossible III, Keri Russell was also credited for other movies like The Curve, Grimm Love, Bedtime Stories, Wonder Woman (voice actress), Austenland, Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, and Cocaine Bear among many others. For her dedication to the industry, the actress has achieved various awards and accolades to date.
