Born on December 9th, 2004, Nico Parker is a British actress who made her acting debut in 2017 with her leading role in the fantasy film Dumbo. It was her first role, and in the years since, Parker has acted in several feature films including Reminiscence, Suncoast, and Bridget Jones: Mad About The Boy. Not only that, Parker has filmed How to Train Your Dragon and Poetic License with the former set to be released in 2025 while the latter is still filming as of March 2025.
Outside films, Parker has also starred in The Third Day, playing Ellie, the main role, in 2020 and was also cast as Sarah Miller in HBO’s The Last of Us, starring across two episodes of the series. Nico Parker’s father, and Thandiwe’s ex-husband, Ol Parker, on the other hand, is an English director, producer and screenwriter best known for writing and directing the 2018 film Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again. Aside from that, Parker has also written The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel and the sequel The Second Best Exotic Marigold Hotel, It Was an Accident and A Boy Called Christmas. Not only that, he also wrote and directed Now Is Good, Imagine Me and You and Ticket to Paradise.
Parker and Newton got married in 1998 and separated in 2022, and the couple have two more children aside from Nico; a daughter Ripley (born 2000) and a son Booker (born 2014).
