Timothée Chalamet made his television debut as a teenager in 2012, making an appearance in the drama series Homeland. In 2014, he acted in Christopher Nolan's science fiction picture Interstellar and made his film debut in the comedy-drama Men, Women & Children.
In 2016, Chalamet played the lead in John Patrick Shanley's autobiographical play Prodigal Son, for which he received a nomination for a Drama League Award and a Lucille Lortel Award. Chalamet gained widespread recognition and was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Actor for his performance in Call Me by Your Name (2017).
