In the scene, Pterosaurs escape from their cage which is followed by the escape of many flying creatures. In a short time, many Pterodactyls and Dimorphodons fly out and all of them start attacking the visitors of the theme park. During the attack, Jimmy Buffett’s quick appearance caught the attention of the viewers. He is seen escaping the place with two margaritas in his hand as the dinosaurs attack the visitors.

In the behind-the-scenes video, director Colin Trevorrow explained that he featured the Margaritaville bar and restaurant because his no. 1 goal of the film was to make Jurassic World feel like a real place.

In 2024, Mattel Creations launched the Jimmy Buffett action figure inspired by his Jurassic World cameo. His action figure wears the island outfit he wore in the film with two margaritas in his hands. They unveiled this action figure at the Comic Con in San Diego.
