A mission in Prague cost Ethan’s team of IMF secret agents their lives when they were assigned to recover the NOC list. With his team destroyed, Ethan is now framed as a mole, and has been marked as a rogue agent, which sets him on a mission to prove his innocence. Ethan, now with a team of disavowed agents, goes on the run to get the NOC list to uncover the real mole.

Emilio Estevez was uncredited in Mission: Impossible as his character was killed off in the first 10 minutes of the movie. He was a part of Jim Phelp’s (Jon Voight) team in their mission to recover the NOC list in Prague. During an interview with Uproxx, Emilio Estevez explained how Tom Cruise expressed the reason for killing off his character so soon in the movie.


Emilio Estevez said, “The way Tom had explained it, he said, ‘Look, I’d love for you to come and join the cast. The whole opening number where everybody gets wiped out, it’s going to be a lot of well-known people and all of them are going to go uncredited and it’s really going to set up the level of peril for Ethan.’”

Emilio Estevez is the son of actor Martin Sheen and the older brother of Charlie Sheen. He was born on May 12, 1962. The actor has acted in various movies like Badlands, Tex, Nightmares, The Breakfast Club, Maximum Overdrive, Stakeout, Men at Work, Another Stakeout, The L.A. Riot Spectacular, A Monster Christmas, and the documentary Brats among others.


Other than his film career, the actor was also seen in television shows like In the Custody of Strangers, The Legend of Billy the Kid, Late Last Night, After Dark: South Beach, The Guardian, Close to Home, Two and a Half Men, and The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers among other projects.
