In Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol, Julia is revealed to be dead, with Ethan taking the blame for her supposed murder. However, it is later revealed that Ethan had only faked her death to protect her from all of his enemies. The proof of her being alive is shown when she appears briefly at the film’s end, showing she is alive and safe.


Lastly, the character was brought back in Mission: Impossible – Fallout, where she is shown to be married to a doctor and works in medical relief. She reunites with Ethan when he protects her from a nuclear threat. In the end, Julia expresses gratitude to Ethan for keeping her safe.
