What happened during the week of January 27, 2014
Brooke asked Ridge to marry her, but Ridge refused to make a decision about his future with her. Undaunted, Brooke proposed that Ridge move back into her house, but he wasn't ready for that, either. Justin discovered photos that could indicate that Ridge had been sexually experimental in Paris, and Bill took the pictures straight to Brooke. Quinn thought she'd convinced Pam and Charlie to keep her secret, but they betrayed Quinn and showed the boutique footage to Liam. Hope and Wyatt consummated their relationship, but Liam tracked Hope down to show her the video of Wyatt stealing the diamond. Hope became upset with Liam and Wyatt's bickering and left them on the roadside.

What happened during the week of January 27, 2014
Kate, Sami, and Gabi were fearful that their secret about Nick would be revealed. Nick told everyone that he could not remember what had happened to him, but E.J. and Hope thought that there was more to his story. Kate and Gabi felt uneasy after talking to Nick. Nick played it cool, but he was out for revenge. E.J. almost had sex with Abigail again in an attempt to stop her from talking to Hope. E.J. told Sami that things had to change and to be wary of Nick's motives. Rafe was angry with Gabi because she had not told him that Nick was back in town. Jordan helped Rafe out after he had a heated meeting with Nick. Rafe asked Jordan about her past. Eric told Nicole that he was leaving town to go on a retreat. Father Timothy counseled Eric and asked him if he still wanted to remain a priest. Daniel and Nicole left town to find Dr. Chyka so that they could clear Eric's name. Bev helped J.J. with his plan to stop Theresa, but J.J. worried that Theresa would not take the bait. Brady continued to drink and avoid A.A. meetings. Maggie called it quits as Brady's sponsor. Hope had a difficult meeting with Aiden about their children. Nick's new friend stunned Kate.

What happened during the week of January 27, 2014
Julian confronted Duke on the piers, but Duke turned the tables on Julian when Sonny and Shawn stepped out of the shadows. Sonny invited Duke to take the first swing at Julian. Later, Julian went to the police station to tell Anna that Duke had been working for Sonny. Duke confessed the truth to Anna and made it clear that he would continue to work for Sonny until Julian was no longer a threat to Duke's loved ones, including Anna. Robert bid farewell to Port Charles when Holly called to ask for Robert's help because Ethan had landed in some trouble. Britt became jealous when she saw Nikolas and Elizabeth during a close moment. Elizabeth admitted that she was not happy that Nikolas and Britt were involved. Heather tried to enlist Spencer and Cameron's help to kill the "chupacabra" under a blanket where Heather had hidden a tightly bound and gagged Carly. Emma overheard Elizabeth urge Sabrina to tell Patrick that he was the father of Sabrina's baby. Robin received a visit from the new director of the World Security Bureau, Victor Cassadine. Victor revealed that he needed Robin's help because Helena and Stavros were not dead. Silas was arrested when a pharmacist revealed that Silas had filled the prescription of the antidepressant that had put Nina Clay in a coma. Sam learned that Silas had a strong motive to kill Nina. Franco turned to Kevin for help, but Kevin put Franco's fate in Scott's hands. Scott sent the police to pick Franco up. Kiki decided to pay Heather a visit at Miscavige to make certain that Heather was locked up. Kiki was unaware that the patient that she saw was actually Luke wearing a wig. Sonny agreed to give Morgan a second chance, provided that Morgan ended things with Ava. Alexis shared a heated kiss with Julian.

What happened during the week of January 27, 2014
Sharon resumed having visions of Cassie. Lily was furious when she realized that Devon was attracted to Hilary. Kyle suspected that Hilary had a crush on Jack. Abby and Tyler made up, and she called Mariah to request that they meet. Ian introduced himself to Dylan, but Dylan made it clear that he wanted nothing to do with his biological father. Ian decided to extend his stay in Genoa City. Ian approached Summer and gave her a business card for "The Path." Fen prepared for his sentencing. Michael tracked down Carmine, who was alive. Chelsea watched Adam's video confession to Delia's murder, while the police searched for Adam. Word spread that Adam had been the hit-and-run driver. After Chloe realized that Chelsea hadn't known about Adam's guilt, she promised to help Chelsea provide a stable home for Connor. Jack blamed himself for not realizing that Adam had been the culprit. Jack informed a livid Nikki about Victor choosing to blackmail Adam rather than going to the police with the knowledge that Adam had killed Delia. Billy took Adam at gunpoint to Delia's memorial, where Billy forced Adam to admit he had killed Delia and to recount how he'd covered up his role in her death. Billy and Adam got into a horrific car accident. One man got out and staggered away, while the other was still inside the vehicle when it burst into flames.

A look at what was happening the week of January 28, 2008
Adam found a way to secretly listen in on JR's private conversations. He presented JR with a ring he claimed had once belonged to Adam's own father. He went on to tell JR that the ring bore the family crest that Adam's father had envisioned for his family. JR was touched by the gesture, not realizing that the ring was bugged. Erica was pressured to book a very handsome senator, who also happened to be a widower, as a guest on her show. Annie learned that she was not a match for Richie. Richie turned to Emma for help. He suggested that she convince her parents to let her help her dying uncle. Ryan and Annie made it clear to Richie that they would not allow Richie to exploit Emma. Ryan woke up one morning with no memory of Annie or his daughter, Emma. He appeared to have experienced significant memory loss. Greenlee and Frankie continued to suffer setbacks as a result of the poisoning. Angie grew frustrated as time seemed to be running out. No one believed Frankie when he insisted that he had seen his father, Jesse. Tad was stunned when he caught a glimpse of Jesse.

A look at what was happening the week of January 28, 2008
The Hughes family had a lot to celebrate. Bob awoke from his coma, and Casey returned from prison. Casey was unsure of what he would do with his life after his release from prison. He was relieved when his grandmother, Lisa, offered him a job. He looked longingly at a tip jar, and it appeared he might betray Lisa's trust. Will and Gwen set down guidelines for Sofie. Sofie decided to sneak into their house while they were out. Barbara would not allow Sofie to see Hallie. When Barbara fell asleep on the couch, Sofie sneaked in and took Hallie. Lily told Holden that they should prove that Emily had killed Dusty. Emily was surprised by Dusty's will. Dusty gave Alison college tuition and Emily the newspaper, the Intruder. Paul was happy that Rosanna had taken responsibility for her crimes. However, his glee was short-lived. Meg told Paul she did not want him in her life. Then, Paul learned that Rosanna had slipped back into a coma. Paul realized he always seemed to destroy the people he loved. Kit returned from jail and decided to live with Sam at Metro. Carly tried to fire Sam, because Parker's behavior and attitude towards Sam continued to worsen. However, Kit would not let Carly fire Sam. Parker was furious with his mother because he thought she had lied to him. Brad tried to woo Katie and asked her to marry him. Katie turned down Brad's proposal and left the diner.

A look at what was happening the week of January 28, 2008
Marina and Cyrus broke up after Harley admitted her true feelings and Cyrus found out about Marina's lies. Cyrus prepared to leave town, and Harley gave him a reason to stay -- they kissed. Marina turned to Mallet for comfort, and she ended up kissing him. Jonathan took Sarah back to Lizzie. They went up to Bauer Cabin to be together. Sarah got ill, and Rick cared for her -- and Beth slapped Jonathan. Jonathan prepared to drug Lizzie later that night so he could leave with Sarah, but Bill switched the drinks, and Jonathan woke to a surprise the next morning -- Lizzie and Bill had left with Sarah. Lizzie called Gus to begin custody proceedings. Bill offered to help Jonathan leave with Sarah, citing that he didn't want Lizzie tied down with a child. Jonathan shared the information with Lizzie, and Lizzie kicked Bill out. Lizzie and Jonathan agreed to no more kidnapping, instead trying to raise their daughter together. Cassie asked Josh and R.J. to leave after Will tried to get R.J. run over by a train. A psychiatrist told Cassie that Will had serious aggression issues, causing Cassie to tell her that her services were no longer needed.

Starr was upset when she caught Langston and Cole in a lie. Blair struggled to bond with Sam. Todd and Blair made love. Rex demanded answers from Roxy about the identity of his real father. Roxy lied and told Rex that Charlie was his father. She pleaded with Charlie to go along with the lie. John took Gigi and Shane to Llanview. He moved them into his apartment, under his personal protection, until Todd and Ramsey were no longer a threat to them. Jessica insisted on staying at St. Anne's without telling her mother and Nash why. She wanted answers from Allison and realized that the only way she could get them was to remain a patient. Jessica pushed Allison for answers. Cryptically, Allison said that while Mitch was dead, his secret was still very much alive. Dorian paid Jared a visit to talk about Charlie. Viki went to Dorian's house and was shocked when Charlie opened the door.

A look at what was happening the week of January 28, 2008
Kay, Miguel, Paloma, and Noah were planning a double wedding, but it almost came to a screeching halt because Pretty was using Fancy to get between Noah and Paloma. Pretty wanted to keep Luis from Fancy, but she ended up hurting someone else in the process. Pretty continued to manipulate the device in Fancy's brain to her advantage, but Luis was concerned for Fancy and was not looking in Pretty's direction. Theresa and Pilar managed to escape Juanita's clutches, but Juanita's men were zeroing in on them. Tabitha was still trying to locate Miguel's letter but didn't know that Endora was aware of its location. Viki stabbed someone through the curtains, thinking it was Ethan, but it turned out to be Rebecca.
