Theresa admitted to Brady that she had lied about Xander trying to rape her. Deimos faked Xander's death and sent him into hiding in Greece. Deimos lashed out at Nicole after she revealed that Chloe was carrying his child. J.J. lapsed into a coma after suffering a gunshot wound while trying to stop Orpheus, who had taken John hostage after planting a bomb at the pub. Steve saved John, and together they took down Orpheus and delivered him to the police station. Orpheus caused a distraction there and took Marlena hostage. He stole a powerful sedative from her medical bag and gave himself a fatal dose of it, unwilling to be sent back to prison. Hope managed to defuse the bomb with Eduardo's help. Maggie learned that her inability to walk was due to a psychological issue. Julie told Victor that Maggie had experienced the same problem years earlier, when she had been with Mickey, and it had stemmed from a fear that she would lose him if she weren't completely dependent on him. Victor decided to retire from Titan as his way of showing Maggie that she was more important to him than anything else. Philip and Brady both expressed interest in taking Victor's place at Titan. Sonny showed signs of jealousy when he learned that Paul had made plans to hang out with Derrick. Guillermo, a dangerous man from Blanca's past, arrived in Salem and discovered that someone else he knew was living there: Theresa.

Julian promised not to retaliate for the bomb in his car that killed Morgan and suggested that he and Sonny end their war, but Sonny was not receptive. Sonny tried to save his marriage, but Carly blamed Sonny for Morgan's death and for failing to put his family first. Ava managed to slip into Morgan's bedroom and retrieve the bottle of pills she had tampered with. Nelle offered to care for Avery and tried to help Sonny through his grief. Felicia became concerned when Maxie seemed to vanish. A man kidnapped Maxie, mistakenly believing she was Claudette. Claudette was forced to admit that Griffin was Charlotte's father when a DNA test ruled out Nathan. Griffin turned to Anna for help to keep Charlotte safe. Anna accepted Robert's offer to work for the WSB. Franco suspected Heather of attacking Bobbie and Lucas in a misguided attempt to clear Franco's name, but Heather refused to confess to the crime.

Chelsea heard Chloe cry out Adam's name during a nightmare. Chloe told Kevin that she wanted him in her life. Sharon thought she spied someone outside the cottage, and she freaked out when she learned that Patty was missing from Stonevale, convinced that Patty had escaped to tell Nick the truth about Sully. Paul was puzzled when he saw that Patty had painted a picture of a pregnant Sharon. Patty turned up in the psychiatric facility's kitchen. Kevin accidentally knocked Nick out, thinking Nick was Sharon's stalker. Sharon asked Nick to move out to keep him from bonding with Sully. Abby ended her marriage to Stitch. Jabot attempted to thwart Brash & Sassy's success by keeping the manufacturer busy making Jabot's products, but Victoria resolved the problem by finding a new production facility. Jack enlisted Phyllis' help to leak confidential Newman documents to the press, indicating that Newman wasn't as financially sound as the company had made itself seem. Billy caught Phyllis trying to destroy a flash drive that contained the documents. Hilary defied Devon and aired a Newman exposé on GC Buzz. Travis became incensed when Victor insinuated that Travis had compromised the company. Victor hired Natalie to erase all incriminating evidence and threatened to sue for slander. Jack assured Ashley that the information leak was the extent of his revenge plans against Victor, but he told Phyllis that it was just the beginning.
